Mabutho woke up at 4 am, he wanted to get a glass of water, so he carefully got out of bed and dragged his heavy head to the kitchen. After drinking water, he felt a bit refreshed, and anticipated going back to bed, he didn't want to disturb Ingo from her peaceful sleep, but he went back to get his phone. Next to his phone was a note saying: "I am sorry I had to leave.", when he removed the cover, the pillows were nicely placed to form a human figure, and he immediately got mad. He tried calling her, but it went straight to voicemail, he tried three more times but he still got the same response. He sat on the bed and dialled his friend, "Sure", Nkanyiso responded on the other end of the call, "I now understand how Samson got his head shaved", Mabutho said, "What?" "Wait, are you driving?", Mabutho asked, "Yeah, KZN is too far, and we couldn't get a flight for this morning", Nkanyiso explained, Mabutho was still lost, "Why do you need to go to KZN?", he asked, "To pay for your child, you dummy, didn't you read my texts." "No, what are you talking about, Nkanyiso?". Nkanyiso explained that he had called him last night to tell him that he managed to convince his big brother and cousin to come with him to KZN to pay for his child's dowry. Nkanyiso knew that Mabutho's father was gonna make things hard for him and he hoped to help Mabutho was a good thing to do. "Thank you, man", Mabutho got very emotional, he knew Nkanyiso cared for him as his brother, but he didn't know he'd go this far for him. "Anyway, what were you saying about Samson?", Nkanyiso wanted to know what made him relate to a bible script, "Never mind man, I'm over that. Wait where did you get the money?", Mabutho asked, "You gonna transfer it and we'll withdraw when we arrive", Nkanyiso said, "So, you went there without even knowing I have the money, what if I didn't", he asked, "I guess I trust you too much", Nkanyiso said.
Sabelo and Ingo-Musa woke up refreshed this morning, Ingo bathe the kids while Sabelo ordered them breakfast, and after everyone had showered, they sat on the table and ate their breakfast. "Do you have anything planned out for this vacation or you thought we'd wake up and decide", Ingo asked feeding Thingo, "I actually have a few things planned out, but mostly we'll go chill in the sand while these two swims", Sabelo answered, "In the fake sea, Baba?", Lifa asked, catching both of them off-guard, "How do you know it's fake?", Ingo asked, really surprised, "Mkhulu told us", he simply answered. "Well, next time, we're going to the real sea", she said with a huge smile, "We've already been there", Thingo quickly answered, Ingo looked at Sabelo, but he shrugged, "Oh, really?", she asked, "Yes, Mkhulu took us there when you were sleeping", Ingo sighed, what did her father do behind her back. After their breakfast, they went to see some art which the kids didn't understand, of course, Sabelo constantly took pictures of them, Ingo's phone was still off, she didn't want to hear from anyone. Eventually, they relaxed in the sand while the kids enjoyed themselves next to the water, Ingo wore a light beach dress because her belly didn't allow her to wear a bikini. Sabelo took another picture, "Yes, take as many pictures as you can so that you can show Siphokazi when you visit her, she'd love that", she said enjoying a third juice in 45 minutes, "Who said I'll visit her?", Sabelo asked, "Why not?", Ingo asked back, "She moved on from me, I'm sure she doesn't wanna see me he said, Ingo rolled her eyes, "Duh, I moved on from you yet I'm still here", she said. "About that, Ingo, I really appreciate your presence in my life, I know I lost you as my wife but can we be friends, please", he asked nervously, Ingo looked at him, he was genuine, "Yeah sure, I think our bond as friends is stronger than the bond we had in a relationship, we're of friends than we were lovers", she admitted, Sabelo was her true friend, maybe that why she turned a blind eye when he hurt him because if she'd left him she would've left her best friend too. "Let me get your last glass of juice before your baby comes out orange", he stood up, "Wait Sabelo!", she yelled, he turned and was horrified to see water sliding down her legs, "Fuck! I'm in so much pain right now", she cursed, not knowing whether she should sit back down, or continue standing, "Oh-oh! aren't you supposed to feel pain prior to this", he really didn't know what to do, "Clearly it didn't happen, Sabelo, do something!", she started shouting, "Mama, why are you shouting", Lifa came running, "If your father doesn't do something, your mama is gonna go crazy, baby", Ingo stood still. Sabelo quickly called the ambulance, he told the kids to change while they waited for the ambulance, Ingo started crying and screaming uncontrollably, she didn't want to move from where she was standing. The ambulance arrived a few minutes later, they took her to the hospital, Sabelo had to follow behind with the kids and quickly went to the hotel room to grab a few important things and Ingo's phone.
