Meeting the parents part 2

Tori's POV

I'm slightly nervous to meet Jade's mom so unfortunately sleep is just not coming tonight. I wander if she is having trouble sleeping as well. I want to text her but also don't want to bother her. Ugh why? Now I understand why Jade hates meeting the parents. It's beyond nerve-wracking. As I lay in bed my thoughts automatically go to my very beautiful and amazing girlfriend. Her smile brings me joy. Her voice makes me want to hear it all the time.
Texting Jade

Tori: Hey babe, you awake?
Jade: Yes love, what's wrong?
Tori: I can't sleep super nervous to meet your mom.
Jade: oh baby there is nothing to worry about she will love you.
Jade: I promise I will be next to you the whole time.
Tori: Ugh I know I just feel like I'm going to do or say the wrong thing.
Tori: I now understand why you hate meeting parents it's so nerve-wracking.
Jade: It is but I can definitely say I didn't hate meeting your parents I was just scared and nervous.
Jade: I love you Tor and I promise it will be okay.
Tori: Thank you baby 🥰 I'm sorry if you were trying to sleep.
Jade: Don't ever be sorry if you haven't noticed yet that I'm kinda whipped when it comes to you.
Tori: Awww babe ❤️💓💕😍🥰 I love you more.
Jade: So many emojis I should have known you would do that even in text.
Tori: I'm sorry I will stop. 🤭
Jade: Now I didn't say stop I think it's cute but only because it's you.
Tori: You think it's cute?😍
Jade: I think you're cute baby.
Tori: I still have no clue what I did to deserve such an amazing girlfriend.
Tori: Thank you for being you and loving me even if I'm annoying.
Jade: You're not annoying I was just an ass that didn't see how much you really meant to me until it was almost to late.
Jade: Okay love we both need sleep we have a long day ahead of us. I love you so very much goodnight baby.
Tori: Yes my love goodnight I love you more. 😘🥰🤗

I feel so much better she definitely knows how to calm me down. I can't wait to see her. Thankfully after chatting for awhile I can finally close my eyes. The sooner I fall asleep the sooner I get to see Jade. My eyes slowly start to close as I let sleep take over with my thoughts being of Jade and her beautiful smile. I'm so unbelievably lucky to have someone as amazing as her in my life. My heart feels whole but I feel as though a part of me is missing when she isn't next to me. Then when she slide up next to me I'm whole again.

My alarm goes off and I wake up to the sun blinding me. I send Jade a good morning beautiful text before I get out of bed. I slowly slip from my bed and rush to the bathroom. Thankfully Trina is still gone otherwise I would never be able to take a shower this early. I turn the water on to let it warm up as I grab a towel and set it next to my clothes. I feel so relaxed under the water it's as if time stopped just so I could enjoy this feeling. Once I get out and dry my body I wrap the towel around my body so I can blowdry my hair.

Once done in the bathroom I make my way to the kitchen. Coffee finally brewing I make myself some eggs with cheese and sauteed onions on a lightly toasted bagel. After breakfast I brush my teeth and make my way to the bedroom. I grab my phone and sit on my bed to see if Jade had messaged me back or not. To which she did and I couldn't stop the smile that spread across my face.
Texting with Jade

Jade: Good morning love hope you slept well.
Jade: Can't wait to see you. Do you want me to pick you up?
Tori: I slept well. Sorry I took a shower and had breakfast.
Jade: It's fine baby. So do you want me to come pick you up after I shower and change?
Tori: Yes please! I would love that.
Jade: Okay love I will be over in roughly an hour maybe less. Can't wait to see you.
Jade: I love you baby.🥰😍😘
Tori: Can't wait to see you either.
Tori: I love you more😘😍💓❤️💖

Jade POV

It felt amazing to wake up to Tori's text telling me good morning. Once out of bed I go to the bathroom then wash my hands and then head down stairs. I smile at the smell of bacon mom is cooking breakfast. Yum she made a spinach and mushroom with cheese omelette. With bacon on the side with toast. I sit at the table to enjoy my food with my mom. Damn I forgot to tell her about Tori coming over. I'm just happy she has the day off so we can spend the day together just the three of us.

"Hey mom do you have any plans for today?" I ask

"No! Why?" She ask

"I asked Tori to come over and spend the day with us so you can get to know her." I told her

"Oh sweetie that's a great idea. When will she be coming over?" She asked

"Well after I eat I was going to take a shower and get dressed then head over to pick her up." I said, smiling at the thought of spending the day with my girlfriend.

"Sounds good to me. Will she be staying for dinner?" She asked

"Yeah I had dinner with her and her parents last night and I would love for her to have dinner with us tonight." I tell her

"Okay sounds great I will go to the store to get some stuff for supper tonight." She said, giving me a kiss on the forehead.

After I finish eating I head upstairs to my room rushing around trying to find an outfit. I finally decide on a pair of my black skinny jeans that has rips in the knees and in the back pockets. My shirt was a purple shirt that had double masks to show my love for theater. After having everything I head to the bathroom to take a fast shower. I finish getting ready and grab my keys and let Tori know I'm on my way. I go to leave but before I make it to the door my mom stops me.

"Drive safe! I love you sweetie." She says

"I will mom love you too." I tell her, fully realizing that I'm getting more comfortable saying "I love you" and actually meaning it.

I run out the door and get into my car thankfully it's not a long drive to Tori's I just hope Trina isn't there. I don't need her to ruin my happy vibe I have going. I get to Tori's about 20 minutes later so I go to knock on the door only to be met by her mom. She was smiling at me and told me Tori was in her room. I tell her thank you and smile at her before heading upstairs. I knock on her bedroom door thankfully she answers right away I grab her hand and pull her in for a hug and a kiss.

"Well hello to you too." Tori says, with a smile on her face.

"Couldn't help myself you just looked so beautiful and kissable." I said, as my cheeks heated up.

"You definitely know how to make a girl swoon." She tells me, as her face is beat red.

"So beautiful are you ready?" I ask

"Definitely let's go. Oh can we stop and grab a coffee my treat?" She asks

"Of course but I'm buying you can get it next time." I say, as I lean into kiss her cheek.

After leave we stop to get a coffee mine was a large black coffee with two sugars as always. I got Tori a large iced vanilla latte with two shots of espresso extra milk with whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top. Of course her beautiful eyes landed on me as I got back to the car. She took her latte once I got back in. She leaned forward and kissed me on the lips telling me thank you. By the time we got to my house my mom had already left to go shopping so we just sat in the living room watching TV as we waited.

"Hi sweetie I'm home." Came my mom's voice

"In the living room! Do you need help?" I ask

"Yes please if you don't mind." She says

"Hi Tori it's so good to see you and finally get to meet you. Work just keeps me on the go almost continuously." She says

"Hi Mrs. West it is so lovely to finally get to meet you properly as well." Tori says, smiling.

We help carry in the groceries and we sit at the dining room table and chat for a bit before lunch comes around. Mom makes us some sandwiches with turkey, cheese, tomato and lettuce. With chips on the side. During lunch mom asked a few questions here and there but nothing to big. I think she is waiting on those questions for later. I can't help the smile on my face as I watch my mom and the love of my life talking amicably over work and school. I reach under the table and take Tori's house in mine. She looks at me and smiles as she squeezes my hand lightly. After lunch we go to the living room and decide to watch a movie. Just to spend as much time as we can with my mom I ask her if she wants to watch with us. Which she says yes. I'm so happy right now I can't contain it anymore I peck Tori on the cheek and start the movie.
