3 weeks later..
BELLA:
Today is an England team fun day for the families, before the World Cup qualifiers. There is 5 matches for them to play, to qualify for the World Cup next year.
The training and the matches mean that they're not going to be seeing us much for the next 5 weeks so England always organise a family fun day before so the players have time to spend with loved ones.
Ben and I turn up, we're a little late but as we walk in I see Mase and Dec. I run over "hey boys" I shout and they grin. "Hey Bells" Mason says hugging me and Dec does the same. "Where's my Loz?" I say and then I hear "right here sister, I wouldn't miss seeing you ever." I turn around and run to Lauren.
Ben is now over with us and we decide to walk around the stalls that are outside. It's amazing how much work has been put into this, there's small local business stalls, there is games and even a little funfair for the little ones. It's amazing to see everyone today.
A couple of hours later, Gareth has called everyone together to make a speech. "Hi all, thanks for coming and I hope you are all enjoying today, however, I have some news and i understand that this isn't very convenient for all of you and I understand that some of you lads may be unhappy by this but, the decision by directors have been made that the next 5 weeks the squad will be staying at SGP, for training and camp until the qualifier matches are finished. We need to get through these matches with the highest amount of points possible. I will discuss more details at a meeting organised for the players tomorrow. You'll get a text with the details. I apologise to the families but I do hope you enjoy the rest of your day"
He says and then Ben looks round and says "I can't leave you for 5 weeks" I smile and shrug "it doesn't look like you have a choice baby, unfortunately. But we'll be okay, this is for your career and to get England to the World Cup next year, where me and your daughter can cheer you on from the stands plus I'll come to every game." He hugs me tight "I'm going to hate leaving you" just then we're interrupted by a very stressed out Mason. "Mase what's wrong" I say making him sit down. "I can't leave you for 5 weeks I mean we can't leave you. To be honest, I don't know if I can do it" I realise what he means as since I've been back this will be the first time he's not seeing me daily. "Mase, like I said to Ben, I'll be okay, I'll only be at the end of the phone. I'll his is for your careers, for your country, to make sure you qualify for the World Cup where me and baby Chilwell can be in the stands watching. I'll come to every qualifying match and I'll be waiting at home for when you both come back" I hug him and whisper "it isn't goodbye this time, I promised you I'm not going anywhere. Think of it like a holiday" he smiles and I can feel myself becoming emotional at the thought of them leaving for 5 weeks, but I smile and not let it show as they're upset enough.
I stand up and say "I'm going to the toilet" as I'm walking I pull Lauren's arm and say "come with me please" she smiles and as soon as we get to the toilets I say "Loz, I can't do it. I can't do 5 weeks without them. I can't do it alone" I start panicking, she places her hands on my shoulder, and looks into my eyes "Bella, breathe. How about I come stay with you for the 5 weeks? I mean we'll probably spend it together anyway. This way you're not on your own, neither am I, and it will help relax Mase and Ben and probably Dec too." I look up and realise that's actually a good idea. "That's a really good idea Loz, let's go tell the boys" I sort my face out and we head back to the boys. As we sit down I say "boys we've sorted the problem so you can all go away for the 5 weeks without worrying" they all look at me intrigued so I continue "Loz is going to come stay with me for them weeks. So I won't be alone" they all smile and I can see Ben visibly relax. Then Mason says "well if we're away for 5 weeks how about let's enjoy today and then head to get dinner together tonight" we all nod as we get up and go to enjoy more of the fun day.
Back at Masons, we order in Pizza as the boys are having a cheat night. We've put a film on, Jack joined us too. We spent tonight like it was the last one for a while as in 3 days the boys would be leaving for 5 weeks.
-3 days later-
The 3 days went by so quickly, the boys helped bring Lauren's stuff over yesterday, and they're all travelling together today. The taxi pulls up outside and they come to say their goodbyes, Mason comes over to me and I can see he's really upset. "Bells, I'm going to miss you so much. Please look after yourself and promise me that if there is anything wrong you'll call one of us." I nod as he continues "promise me you'll call me everyday please." I hug him tight "Masey, I'll call you everyday and I promise I'll be there at Wembley for the first match and I'll be waiting with a hug afterwards. 5 weeks and 5 matches, you can do it. I love you so much big bro" he grins "I love you too little sis" then Dec comes kerb and hugs me tight, telling me to call him daily too and make sure me and Loz don't cause too much trouble. A hug and an I love you later and I know my last goodbye is going to be the hardest. Ben walks over to me and hugs me tight, I know he has tears falling, so do I. "Baby, you can do this. Me and bump are so proud of you, I love you so much and I'm going to miss you lots" he smiles and says "please be safe, call me anytime if there is any problems. If none of us can answer I've left you the number to one of the coaches and they can get us, I'm going to miss you like crazy baby. I love you so much" I smile knowing neither of us are saying much as we don't want to cry too much. "I'll be in the stands with my Chilwell top on baby. I love you too so much. Text me when you get there I'll call you later" Lauren puts her arm around me as we watch them leave in the car. Once they've left and the front door closes, we let our tears fall. The realisation hits that it's 5 weeks without them.
Once we've calmed down, Lauren and I put on a film and eat snacks while singing to the musical to distract us.
