It's quarter final day, we're all so excited for them. It's been a chaotic 3 weeks, the boys have been really busy with training. We've not really seen them for long after the matches and with long days of training they've been finishing late and it's only been brief phone calls. After today they get to spend 2 days with us as the hotel as there's a bigger gap between this match and the next one, obviously hoping they win and get through to the semi-finals. It works out that their last day with us is Summers birthday and they don't have to leave until later in that evening so Ben gets to see Summer on her birthday.
We arrive at the stadium, however Summer is in a foul mood today, she's just not listening to me and being naughty. She lashed out at me earlier and I've ended up with a bruise on my face from her head butting me. Max is just unsettled today and I'm not sure why at all. I'm in the stands and they're about to come out to kick off, as they walk out they all wave. This causes Summer to get upset as she's seen Ben. "Are you okay Bella?" Loz asks and I shake my head "I think honestly not seeing Ben has been harder on her than I thought, I didn't think she'd really notice but she's been like a different child. I think Max is unsettled because of so many changes." She nods and explains that Jude's been unsettled too and and thinks the little ones so notice more than we expect. At the 25th minute we see Mason score and we all cheer. Summer gets really excited that Uncle Masey scored. Then again at the 52nd minute we see Mason pass the ball through to Harry K who scores giving them a 2-0 lead, the atmosphere is incredible.
The match finishes 2-0 and everyone celebrates us getting through to the semi-finals, but also it celebrates them being able to see us and the children for 2 days. They announce that Mason received player of the match, which I know will mean he has interviews so he'll come over to us later than the others.
Soon I see Ben walking over, I let Summer run to him and she's so excited to see him. Soon he's hugging me and I instantly feel myself relax now that I'm back in his arms. "Baby, what's happened to your face?" He says worriedly as soon as he notices. I shrug and smile "incident with Summer and her head, that's all" he looks confused and asks "an accident?" I shake my head "not exactly, let's just say she's been struggling, I'll explain it in bed tonight" he laughs and winks at me "it's the first night in nearly 4 weeks I'm going to be in bed with my wife, I plan to do a lot more than talking baby" I grin and kiss him then I hear "did not need to what your plans with my sister Chilly" I see Dec behind him, I laugh and Ben says "Dec mate if your saying that's not on your list of things you want to do tonight I know your lying" we all laugh and he just holds his hands up and says "fair enough" Dec hugs Summer then she says "where Masey?" I smile "he's talking to someone he'll be here soon." Just as I say that she starts crying and screams "I WANT MASEY" I take her back from Dec and he picks Max up who is now crying, Bens having his cuddles with Jude.
"It's okay Summer he'll be here soon baby" I reassure her but she just keeps crying, and shouting "I WANT MY MASEY" I cuddle her tight trying to calm her down and all of a sudden I see Mason running over, I tap Summer to get her attention "baby look who's coming" I say and she looks up through her teary eyes and Masons there, he picks her up and she cuddles into him so tightly. "Sums you didn't need to cry baby, Uncle Masey will always come see you." She just snuggles her face into his neck, he holds her in one arm and puts the other one around me "hey little sis, you okay?" I smile "hey Masey, yeah I'm okay now she's happy." He smiles then his face drops "Bella, what the fuck happened to your face, it's bruised?" I laugh "your niece head butted me" he doesn't look any less worried. I mouth "I'll explain later or tomorrow" he nods and I just stand in Bens arms, Jude fell asleep on him so now he has both arms free to cuddle me as Max doesn't want to leave Dec. I look at my family and just grin, I feel so lucky to call these all my family.
Max is in his buggy and I say "Summer, Maseys got to go now. He's got to get his bags so he can come see us at the hotel for a couple of days." She shakes her head and holds him tighter. He lifts her head up and says "did you want a sleepover with Uncle Masey tonight?" She smiles so he tells her to go back with me and Lauren and make sure we've got her favourite teddy bear packed. She happily comes to me as we say a temporary goodbye to them all.
-2 hours later-
It's only 4pm, now as we had an early kick off, we're all relaxing and the little ones are playing in the park. The babies are in the shade with some toys. Soon what was peace and quiet is disturbed, I see the boys all coming over. The kids all run to them happily. Summer ran to Ben but ended up coming over with Mason. Ben comes over and kisses me "2 days with my family, I can't wait. I've missed you so much" I grin and kiss him again "I've missed you too baby, our little girl turns 2 in 2 days" he grins and then I hear "Hey stranger" I recognise the accent to be Jacks. "Hey Jack you okay?" He laughs "a lovely 2 day break and relax period with everyone, I couldn't be happier." I smile "are you in a room with Mase?" He smiles and nods "you do realise Summers having a sleepover with you tonight don't you?" He nods and grins, and excitedly says "Mase told me already, we're gonna watch a Disney movie with her and it's going to be good. What's your plans for tonight?" Ben just grind and says "nice night in cuddling" Jack bursts out laughing "maybe try saying that with a straight face without the grin Chilly and it may be believable" we all laugh and Ben says "Nights with my wife after being without her for 4 weeks, I can't wait" then we hear "Chilly mate that's my little sister. Speaking like that I think I'm saving Summer tonight" Mason says and we all laugh, Ben adds "you can't blame me, I've only been married 2 months and 4 weeks of that has been spent away from her, any time with her is amazing no matter what we do" I smile and kiss him as Max cuddles into his arms.
Soon his phone vibrates, so does Masons and Decs, Me and Loz look at eachother then at them. "Looks like we're busy for an hour or so tomorrow" Ben says and I ask why, he tells us that him and the other 2 boys have been called up by Josh for Lions den tomorrow, it's a show they do where the players get asked questions from the fans and they just give a little insight into how trainings going and play some competitive games.
