🎵I was fine before...you walked right through that door...🎵

Josie hums softly, sitting in bed with her head rested against the headboard, notebook and pen in her hands as she attempts to write her next song.

She thinks about how far she's come since the moment she first saw Hope in the bar.

🎵And now I'm something more...than I ever imagined.
I was so sure I knew exactly who you were...🎵

Josie shakes her head at herself. Every assumption she had about Hope, military, supernatural, a Mikaelson...she was all wrong about the auburnette.

🎵But you were something more than I ever imagined🎵

A small smile forms on her lips as she thinks about the Hope she's gotten to know, her wife.

The way Hope cares for her and protects her...

🎵In your arms, I'm safe and sound.🎵

How Hope drives her crazy, every single day.

🎵You turn my world right upside down.🎵

She thinks about how much she and Hope have been through separately and together. But now, she can't help but feel a little grateful for all those hardships, because without them, she wouldn't know Hope the way she does now. They wouldn't have gotten married or grown to understand and respect each other the way that they have. Despite Josie's claims that she absolutely can't stand the Tribrid, Josie can't deny that they have a unique connection.

🎵But all the hell we've been through had a purpose. Together we are chaos and it's perfect.🎵

Josie never believed in marriage before, probably due to the fact that she's never witnessed healthy marriage. Her father hated her mom, for being a vampire.
She never really believed in love for the same reason.
But now...she's not so sure she believes those are merely just fables told in children's tales.

🎵Always thought those feelings, they were stories not made for me...🎵

And now, she's siphoned from Hope. And she let Hope feed on her.

Her entire belief system has just...shifted. Her mind is all over the place, and she knows every bit of what she's feeling, is because of Hope.

🎵It's terrifying but I'm pretty certain...It's worth it🎵

"It's worth it...?" Josie whispers to herself, writing the line down on her page.

Her attention is drawn toward the bathroom door as it opens and the light from within shines into the bedroom, as Hope emerges through the door, ringing out her damp hair with a towel.

Josie's cheeks feel a bit warm as she eyes the Tribrid in her boxers and sleep shirt.

She's walking much better than before, thanks to Josie's blood, but Josie still notices she's not at 100% strength yet, though Hope's physique doesn't suffer at all from it.

Josie's not even sure what 100% would look like for the Tribrid anymore.

"You working on a song?" Hope's words bring her out of her train of thought as she quickly tears her gaze away, and she's grateful Hope turns out the bathroom light, so the only thing shining is the small lamp on the bedside table. It keeps the Tribrid from noticing the red tint of her cheeks.

"Mhm," Josie nods, turning her attention back toward her book.

She and Hope haven't really talked at all since their...moment..on the couch earlier.
