Chapter 9

Xavier

I grabs the ingredients I needed from my refrigerator, and starts cooking. Calvin enters the kitchen "something smells good" Calvin said "it's the food I'm cooking us". Wait what is your major again ? Calvin ask "pediatrician" "wait what, I never knew you wanted to be a doctor" "I always wanted to be one since middle school". "I use to care for younger siblings a lot when my parents weren't home when it came to them being sick. My parents weren't home a lot, but they did care for me, and my three other siblings".

"Wow you have siblings" Calvin was shock to hear this. I guess there a lot he didn't know about Xavier. Do you have siblings ? "I have a older sister, and a older brother. My sister is 26, and my brother is 23, and that leaves me the youngest". What about your siblings ? he ask "Well I'm the oldest, then my sister who is 17 who about to be 18, my brother who is 15, and my little sister who is 12 turning 13 a few month" I says.

Once the food is ready I plate the crusted chicken squeezes some lemon juice on both chicken. Then I plated the vegetables on the side. I places a plate in front of Calvin. Calvin then sits down at the kitchen table "this chicken looks and smells so good". "You could have went to school to cook" Calvin said taking a bite. "I love to cook, and bake but not as much as I love caring for others".

I sits next to Calvin "this food is amazing" Calvin says. I eats my food, and after both we were done eating I was going to wash dishes when Calvin insisted on washing them. "No I can do it" I says "no I'm the guest, and I have no problem washing the dishes". I washes the dishes while I just sat and stares. When Calvin finishes cleaning both them webqent back to tutoring for thirty more minutes. When I saw it was after nine thirty so we decided on calling it a night. Calvin grabs his backpack he wishes me a goodnight, and headed over to his apartment next door.

"No you didn't" Cody said do I look like I'm joking ? "maybe" Aiden said. "Like why would lie about this" I say so what now ? Cody "nothing, it's just a friends with benefits type of relationship". So that means you're okay with Xavier dating other people ? "No we both sign a contract that said we will not fall in love until we both want to end this friends with benefits thing" I say. Wow what are some of the other rules ? Aiden ask "none of yall business". "Come on tell us" Cody says "no" I say as I grabs one of Aiden PS5 controllers.

I unpauses the game, "I'm so winning this match" I cheered. So did you guys buy your dresses yet ? "No, I'm about to buy mine" Aiden said "I already brought my dress" Cody bra "I'm buying my dress this week too" I replied "remember we have to text each other what our lovers think of our dresses after" Cody said.

"Man I wish I have someone to show my dress off too" Aiden said how about this. We can all have a sleepover at Aiden house this Friday an we will wear the dresses, and talk about what our lovers thought of the dresses ? "That sound great" Cody said "yeah let's do it". After I win the game I start packing up "I have to go, I have to head over to my parents house".

Once pack I wish my friends a goodbye, and I scheduled a Uber to my parents house. In two hours the driver arrives to my parents house. I wish the driver a good day, and walk towards the front door. I knock on door, then I ring the front door. I was hoping one of my siblings open the door.

The front door open and I am pulled in to a hug. "I miss you bro" Greg says "bro I only been gone for a few months, and I live only two hours away". Greg let's go of me "I been very busy with work, and my girl friend Paris". Wait you and Paris are still together ? "Yes it been almost five years, and I need to ask you something". I walks in to the kitchen, and Greg follow behind.

I grabs a glass of water, and he sits down at the kitchen counter. "I am going to ask Paris to marry tonight" I almost choke on my water. "Wow Greg, I would've expected you to be the marrying type" I said "me either, but Paris is the one"he replies. "Well be right behind you cheering you on even if she says no. Now did you get a ring ? "Yes, I have to show you the ring". Greg runs upstairs to grab the ring while I drink the rest of his water.

Greg comes back downstairs with a box, he pop it open. "What a beautiful ring, Paris is definitely going to love it. The ring had a small , but yet shinny diamond. "Well I have to go, wish me luck" "good luck". Greg grabs his jacket and leaves the house. I parents must of went out so the house is empty. "I have the house to myself" I cheers. I heads upstair to my old bedroom.

I enters my old bedroom to see everything in ny room is still where I last left it "Calvin" a voice said. I walks back downstairs to see my sister Lauren. Calvin walks over to her, and she gives me a hug. Where is Greg ? "on a date". "Aww I wonder when Greg going to pop the question to Paris. They're like so cute together" Lauren said "they really are" I reply. My phone starts buzzing and I sees it a text from Xavier.
