Chapter 13

Xavier

It's been a few months since Calvin and I started hooking up and let me tell you, things have been hot and heavy. So, being the amazing hookup that I am, I decided to surprise Calvin with some new lingerie. I casually mentioned to my friends that I needed to swing by the mall to pick something up, and of course, Tyler had to ask what I was buying. "Oh, just something for someone special," I replied with a sly grin.

As we parked in the bustling garage and made our way into the mall, I instructed my friends to go do their own thing while I browsed in Victoria's Secret. The saleswoman greeted me with a raised brow and asked how she could assist me. "I'm looking for something extra special for my girlfriend," I said confidently. "Oh, well we just got some gorgeous new lace pieces in, perfect for a romantic night," she suggested, leading me over to the bras. I couldn't help but think of how much Calvin loved lace, and I quickly pulled out my phone to check the pictures I had sneakily taken of his size. I ended up buying two sets, one lace and one with jewels, just to really spice things up.

As I was browsing, I heard a familiar voice behind me. "What are you doing in Victoria's Secret?" Tyler asked with a sly grin. I rolled my eyes and tried to play it cool. "Nothing, just picking up a little something for a lady friend," I replied coyly. He raised an eyebrow and gestured to the bag in my hand. "Uh huh, sure you are. Who's the lucky lady?" I wanted to keep it a secret, especially from Mark, so I quickly covered his mouth and gave him a warning look. "Listen, if you tell anyone about this, I'll make you regret it," I threatened, my eyes turning red with intensity.

Tyler quickly backed off and we met up with Mark, who had his own bags in hand. As we walked over to the food court, Mark couldn't help but ask about my purchase. "So, who's the lucky lady you're spoiling?" he asked with a smirk. "My girlfriend," I replied nonchalantly. "Wait, I didn't know you were dating again," Mark said in surprise. "We're not, we're just hooking up," I clarified. "And Calvin is okay with that?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "What I do in my personal life is none of Calvin's business. We're just having some fun and that's it," I said confidently, not wanting to give away any more details.

When Thursday finally arrived, I couldn't contain my excitement at the thought of seeing Calvin. With our busy schedules, we only got to spend two days a week together, and he had to cancel on me for his other day off. But when I saw him, I knew it was all worth it. "I have something for you," I said with a sly smile, reaching for the bag next to my bed and handing it to him. "Oh? I didn't know we were exchanging gifts," he replied, pleasantly surprised. "Well, I couldn't resist getting you something special," I teased, but quickly added, "I can take it back if you don't like it." "No, no, I'm just kidding," he reassured me, eagerly taking the Victoria's Secret bag from my hand. As he pulled out the first set, his eyes lit up. "Wow, this bra is gorgeous," he exclaimed.

"I couldn't help but notice you like wearing lace bras and panties," I said, feeling a bit bold. "So I got you a new lace set." Calvin then pulled out a black bra and panty set from the bag. "This bra is so cute," I gushed, feeling a rush of excitement at the thought of seeing him wearing it. "Thank you for the beautiful gift," he said sincerely. "You're welcome, but I better see you wearing them at least once," I added with a playful wink. "Okay, deal," Calvin replied, followed by a sudden cough. "Are you okay?" I asked with concern. "Yes, I'm fine," he reassured me, but another cough escaped his lips.

I quickly got up and headed to the kitchen to get him a glass of water. When I returned, I handed it to him with a gentle smile. "Here, drink some water. I don't want you getting sick," I said, placing a hand on his forehead to check for a fever. "I'm not getting sick," Calvin insisted, but another cough followed. He quickly gulped down the water, and I couldn't help but chuckle. "The water isn't going anywhere, Calvin," I teased. "I think I should head home," Calvin said, trying to hide his cough. "Of course, take care," I said, giving him a quick kiss before he grabbed his backpack and left.

"Calvin!" Mark called out, and I turned to see Xavier's friends Mark, Tyler, and my best friend Cody walking over. Wait, were Cody and Tyler holding hands? I whispered to Xavier, "Are they...?".

"Yep," he replied.

I was shocked but also happy to see my best friend and Xavier's friend Tyler together. When did this happen ? I said pointing at Cody and Tyler. "A month" Tyler boasted "wait you been dating for two months and you didn't tell your bestfriend of how many years" I said with huff. "I wanted to tell you, I really did but I didn't know where Tyler and I relationship was going" Cody admits.
"But let's talk about that skirt" Tyler said as Mark walks away.

Where is he going ? I ask "I don't know". All night Mark didn't want to hang with us, he tried avoiding all of us all night long.

"Mark" I called out to him he turns his head to me "sure". "Let's take this conversation outside" I say Mark follow me to Aiden backyard where his pool lied. You been avoiding Tyler and I all night. What is going on ? "Nothing" Mark lies. "Mark I know you since 10th grade something wrong". "Fine you want to know what wrong" Mark said "yes" I reply. "I can't stand this" You stand what exactly ? "This relationship you and Calvin are in" he finally admits.

Wait what, what did Calvin do to you ? "He took my bestfriend away from me. I don't see you that much anymore, and now he walks into this party dress in a skirt. Skirts are for women to wear not men unless it's kilts." "Mark you could've told me this weeks ago instead of acting like a baby about it. I don't have time for this I'm heading back inside" I say as I walk away.

"I knew Calvin was trouble that why I leak... I stop in place "you did what" I said as I turn around. "Nothing" Mark says people inside started noticing Mark and I arguing and some them started coming outside to see what was going on. I started thinking "wait you were the one who leak those photos of my Calvin to the whole University". "Yes I admit I was the one that leak them. I thought maybe if I get Calvin expelled I would have my bestfriend back." I then punch Mark "you could've Calvin expelled and arrested for this. Do know how scared Calvin was when those photo got leak".
