Xavier

"God, how do I tell Xavier that I am in love with him?"

"Snap out of it" a voice said  "Huh?" I replied. "You're in love," Grace said "no, I'm not," I said. "Yes, you are. I don't know with who, but I can tell by the look on your face," she said. I ignored Grace and went back to work, when I saw Xavier enter the ship. "What are you doing here on your day off?" I asked. "Can I get a medium chocolate caramel cold brew?" he said. "You didn't answer my question," I said. "I have tons of homework due this week," he replied.

I was reminded that Xavier was a medical major and probably had a lot more homework than I did. I handed him his receipt, and Xavier walked over to the end of the counter where pick up was. After he left, my phone started buzzing and I looked down to see a text from Xavier. "Meet me at my place after your shift," it said. When my shift ended, I took an Uber back to my apartment and got ready to head over to Xavier's.

When I arrived, I knocked on the door and was pulled inside. Xavier kissed me and asked, "What was that for?" "Oh, nothing," he said before kissing me back and leading me to his bedroom. We had passionate and exhilarating sex and when it was over, Xavier said, "Wow, that was like the best sex I ever had." "Really?" I asked. "Yes," he said with a grin. "How about this Saturday we both hang out after you get off your shift ?"

I remembered that I had a date with Heather the next day and asked if we could hang out the following day instead. "Sure," Xavier said, and I agreed. The next day came and I was eager for my shift to end. After work, Heather arrived in her car in front of my apartment. "You're driving," she said, throwing her car keys at me. I caught the keys, wondering why I was driving. "Because that's what gentlemen do, and plus I don't want to be seen with your gay ass," she said in a snarky tone.

We got to the fancy restaurant and the hostess said, "Welcome to The Tower". After ordering our food, Heather excused herself to the restroom and I got up to follow her. When I entered the restroom, I realized it wasn't the men's restroom. I tried to leave but the door wouldn't open. I started searching for another exit when I heard my name being called. I turned around to see no one, but then a man approached me. "Hello sir," he said. I saw men sitting at booths around the room and there were ladies on stage shaking their asses around poles.

"Is this a strip club?" I asked. "Yes," the man said, flashing his pointy teeth which were strangely similar to Xavier's. I started to walk away when I heard a voice say, "No, stay Calvin." I turned to see a man standing up from a table and asked, "How do you know my name?" "I know everything," he said. I quickly sped to the entrance and the door unlocked, allowing me to escape.

When I returned to the table, Heather asked, "What took you so long?" I lied and said, "My stomach was hurting, maybe it's from some food I ate earlier today." We finished our meal and Heather found a way to flirt with our waiter. As we were leaving, she said, "I'll call you," and I drove myself back home.

When I was near my apartment, I heard my phone buzz. When I stopped at a red light, I grabbed my phone from Heather's cup holder to see a text from Xavier asking me to meet him at his place. When we arrived, I parked the car in my spot and got out, wishing Heather a goodnight. I entered my apartment building and headed upstairs to Xavier's place.

I knocked on the door and a little boy appeared. "Hi little man, I must have the wrong apartment," I said walking away. Xavier called out, "Calvin, where are you going?" I walked back to the door and said, "Who is this little boy?" "My little cousin. My older cousin is in town and told me to watch him while she goes grocery shopping," Xavier replied.

I smiled and said, "Hello, little man. My name is Calvin." He smiled and said, "Hi, my name is Samuel." I gave him a handshake and walked over to Xavier's couch and sat down. Samuel sat next to me and I asked, "Ooh, Samuel, do you want to play some UNO?" "Yes, please," he said.

I got up and said, "I'll be right back." I went to my apartment, grabbed my UNO cards, and headed back to Xavier's place. Samuel and I were in the middle of playing a few rounds of UNO when a knock was heard at the front door. Xavier opened it to reveal his cousin. "I'm back, Samuel, grab your things, we're leaving," she said, turning to me.

"Why hello, who is this?" she asked Xavier, her whisper were not as quiet as she had hoped. "My friend," Xavier answered. "I'm ready, Mommy," Samuel said, smiling up at me. I gave him a high five and said, "It was nice meeting you, Samuel."
