we were all drunk especially kie and i. we were both laughing our asses off at everything and just making a big mess around us. i kept making one of the guys go back in fourth to get me a drink so i decided to go myself this time

"i'll be back" i said to get another cup. i got up and made my way to the kegger to pour myself another cup. i was too drunk and kept missing my cup, spilling it on the sand

"haha i got you" someone said. i looked up and it was aaron. "thank you" i said.

"want to go on a little walk?" he asked. i debated on saying yes but i decided yes because i want to catch up with him

"nowhere far though" i replied.

he nodded as we walked a few feet away from the party. we just walked up the first tree we passed by. i leaned on the tree while taking sips from my cup

"are you having fun?" i nodded my head

"obx is my home. feels like good old times" i replied back.

"so are you going back to school with all of us here" he asked getting a little closer to me.

"isn't it summer?" i asked jokingly

"yes but can't someone just wonder like me"

"i'm not sure. i should check it out with a counselor or my dad" i said.

i noticed he was getting closer to me so i had to sober myself a bit before anything crazy happens.

"you should come back, it'll give us more time to see each other" he said. i blushed a little. he leaned in for a kiss.

at this point i just decided to kiss him back because he was a good looking guy. plus it's not like rafe has tried to make a move yet

i felt his tongue gliding in my mouth softly. he's a good kisser, tastes like alcohol but maybe that's just me. at this moment, i felt his hand glide up to my thighs. this was what i had to sober myself for. i did not want to do any of this

"i can't do this" i said

he started to laugh at me now

"do what? we're just kissing y/n"

"i just felt your hand go up my thigh" i said.

"i won't do it anymore"

he leaned in and continued to kiss me. i wrapped my arms around his neck as he pulled my in. my body was against his and his hand was going up closer to my inner thigh

"knock it off" i said trying to pull back. he continued and pushed my face into his so that our kiss wouldn't break. i kept scooting back but couldn't because he was stronger than me. i felt like i couldn't breathe anymore. his hand was pushing my head to his while the other one was now on my ass as he gripping it.

"stop it aaron"

"she said knock it off" rafe yelled as he pushed him off me. aaron was now on the floor as rafe went on top of him and repeatedly punched him

"rafe! stop!" i yelled as more people started to crowd around us

he didn't listen to me and continued. topper came and pulled them apart. i ran over to check on aaron. he has a bruise but he'll survive to be honest

"he'll fine" rafe said and walked away

"what was that about" kie asked coming up to me

"i don't know" i said as i felt tears coming out. i looked over to kie who pulled me in for a hug. i didn't know why i had tears coming out of me but there was.

we made out way over to the fire where everyone was. i took a seat next to john b and kie sat down next to me

"you okay?" john b asked and i nodded

he pulled me in for a hug. john b always called me his little sister and now i see why. i see him as an older brother. the way we see each other is like family. these pogues are my family.

the kegger seemed to die down a bit but there was still a good amount of people here. kie was playing her ukulele while jj was trying to freestyle. everyone was laughing and just having fun

i looked over and saw rafe who was just sitting all alone

"i'll be back again" i said. "you're always leaving us. why don't you just stay and drink" jj said and offered me a cup. i laughed and just walked past him as i made my way over to rafe

he was just sitting, looking out to the ocean. i sat down next to him, pulled my knees into my chest and wrapped my arms around myself. i didn't say a word, waiting for him to say something first

"are you ok" he asked. i looked to my right to face him who was looking at me. i gave him a weak smile and nodded. he nodded back and broke eye contact.

"you know..you didn't have to do that" i said

"but i did. i saw him y/n. he was throwing himself on you when you clearly didn't want it" he said.

"thank you" i said with a smile. he pulled me in his arms and kissed the top of my head leaving his arms around my shoulder.

"this is new" i said blushing. i looked up at him and he started blushing a little bit

"you're different y/n"

"i never noticed it but when you left, things changed. i changed and look at you, you've changed. you changed your hair color, you're wearing more makeup but still simple." he said making me blush and laugh just a little bit

"i've never hated you" he said. we stared into each others eyes for awhile until rafe came in and brought his hand up to my cheek.

his hand was so warm, warming up my cheeks. is this our moment? is this the day, the time i get to kiss rafe cameron?

he kissed me. i kissed him back. fireworks.

we pulled back, not regretting it but knowing it might be a bad idea if we continue.

"i'm gonna go find kelce and topper" he said.

"i should probably find my friends as well" i said as he got up. he gave me his hands and helped me up. i looked up into his eyes and saw the rafe i've always loved.

"i'll see you later? tomorrow? soon?" he spitted out making me laugh

i made my way back to my friends as rafe went back with topper.

"what now?"

"y/n" i heard

i looked over and saw sarah who calling me over by waving her arms in the air. i got up and walked over to her

"are you guys leaving?" i asked. it was her, topper, and rafe. the three of them were just standing there looking at me stumble.

"yeah we're getting tired but i'll see you tomorrow?" sarah asked. i nodded and hugged her. i proceeded to hug topper then rafe

"bye you" rafe whispered in my ears as we hugged

i said my goodbyes to them and walked back to my friends.

"heck of a day?" john b said while holding his cup up. "heck of a day" i said cheering my cup against his.

it was getting late so we all went back to the chateau. i was not in the right state of mind to be driving or walking home so i spent the night.
