Everyone in the dojo was doing their usual stretching before pratice. All was well until Jerry bursted in. "Guys, huge problem— Kelsey Vargas, the coolest girl in school is on her way down here." He looked panicked. April rolled her eyes at this, continuing her stretching. "Don't panic. We've trained for this!" Jack tried to calm him down. "Guys, bust out the emergency deodorant." He told Milton and Jerry. "I don't need deodora—" Jerry was cut off by three female voices all at once. "Yes you do." Kim, April, and Eliza spoke all at once with disgusted looks on their faces.
"I told Kelsey I was a martial arts expert and the youngest sensei in the world!" Jerry frowned. April took this as a chance to make fun of him. "It's funny because you're not." She grinned as the other two girls stifled laughs. "You're just jealous." Jerry mumbled causing April to just look at him for a moment before turning away. "Whatever." She muttered. Kim and Eliza looked at eachother in curiosity but decided to let it go. Rudy made his way into the room to hand Jerry a helmet. "Rudy! Kelsey's on her way, dude, please hook me up with that black belt!" He gestured to the one Rudy had on. "You can't have this belt. It's symbol of hard work, honor and respect."
"Well, then why do you use it to walk your dog?" Jack questioned, walking towards the two. "That was one time and it was an emergency!" He defended himself. "Now, let's get to sparring!" He told everyone. They were quick to follow his instructions. "Jerry, you're up against April, Milton, you're with me, Jack, you're up against Eliza, and Eddie, you're up against Kim." He informed them all. Jerry looked over at April who waved creepily with a grin plastered on her face. He almost let out an annoyed groan as they'd all gotten into their places to start sparring. This was when Kelsey walked into the dojo. "Hi, Jerry." She strutted in as she spoke. He turned around excitedly. "Kelsey, what a surprise." He smiled. "So these are you students that fear and respect you?" She crossed her arms.
"Yes! We are." April nodded. Jerry looked down at her with a smile. Maybe she wasn't going to be a pain after all. "I'm about to fear and respect the living grits out of him right now." She smiled sarcastically. "No..not my grits. I'm gonna need my grits." He begged before April decided to just harshly kick him in the torso. He fell over in pain as the others started laughing quietly. "Yeah," He got up slowly. "I'd say you've got that move down pretty well." He tried to play it off.
. . .
Eliza, Jack, April, and Eddie sat together in a random hallway at school. Eliza was helping Jack out with understanding some homework he'd gotten. "You're an idiot." She grinned at one of the stupid jokes he'd made whilst Jack smiled proudly at the fact that he was making her laugh. He didn't exactly care about whatever he was learning. Just the conversation he was having with her. April and Eddie would sometimes look at the two and then look back at eachother weirdly before just ignoring them.
Jerry came walking down the steps with a frown on his face. "Look who it is! Our great sensei." She winked at him before sending him a fake smile which shouldn't have given him butterflies, yet it did. "Thanks a lot, April. You cost me a date with the coolest girl in school." He spoke angrily. "Wait, I thought I was the coolest girl in school..?" Eliza looked over at Jerry. "No, you're the prettiest." He assured her before continuing with his rant. "Oh. Thank you!" She smiled, nodding while Jack rolled his eyes. Jerry flirting with her grossed him out for whatever reason.
"What are you gonna do about it?" She challenged. "April, in the future, let's respect Jerry enough not to embarrass him in front of girls he's lying to." Jack said whilst Eliza nodded. "Thank you, Jack! It's called decency, April!" The conversation was cut short as Milton strutted down the hallways in a royal getup whilst playing his kazoo. The room erupted in laughter at this. "All hail Miltonius, the newly crowned king of Narnia!" He yelled for all to hear. "This is why you went to spring formal with the biolab skeleton, you dork!" April yelled back. Being friends with him was not helping her reputation.
