Chapter 17

I woke up to the sounds of my mom crying. I don't know how long I've been out for, but it seems like a while. "Mom" I called out and she looked up at me. I could see that she is heartbroken. Everything that happened yesterday came back to mind.

Abbigayle and Jordan are together. Eww! How could he betray my mother like this. She has sacrificed everything for him only for him to turn around and hurt her like this. If I had hated her, I would have thought she deserve this; but I don't and I feel very guilty.

Maybe if I had told her from the beginning, we could have escaped this. But unfortunately, that wasn't done. "Becca, who was that lady who appeared in front of us yesterday?" I looked at my mom with guilt. " She is the ghost of Jordan's ex-fiancé" I answered.

"Why didn't you tell me all of this Becca? Why do you have to make me suffer like this? Now I'm going to watch you get killed and I'm going to die also". My heart broke at her words. "Mom I didn't tell you because I'm scared you wouldn't believe me". I told her the truth. The only reason why I didn't tell her is because I'm scared, she wouldn't believe me and also mention it to Jordan because she tells that man everything.

"What do you mean by I wouldn't believe you?" she asked. "Mom, I thought because you know I hate him you would think that I'm making up stuff about him to break you guys apart. I was also scared that if I have told you, you would have gone back to him and say something and that will ruin my plan".

My mom sighed. " Becca you are my daughter; I will always listen to you even if sometimes what you say don't make any damn sense. Yes, I did love him, but I love you more. You are my heart and soul Becca and there isn't anything in this world that can change that".

I am so touched by her words. "Mom, I would hug you right now, but as you can see, I'm so tied up" I said gesturing the roped binding me to the chair. We both looked at each other for a few seconds before we burst out laughing.

"Becca can you tell me more about Jordan's fiancé?" My mom asked. "Well mom it's a long story". I said before I began telling her everything.

My mom was in tears when I told her about everything that has happened. "I can't believe that I married that man". "I know mom I'm sorry". I mentioned about Jordan and Abbigayle and you could see the heartbreak in my mom's eyes.

We were silent for a few minutes when we felt a sudden chill in the room. Louise appeared in front of us. She untie my mother and help her off the floor and they both help me get loose from the chair.

"Jordan is out and that chick that he has been sneaking with is at school. It is time for you to defend us and save yourselves before it's too late". With that she disappeared.

"Mom I'm going to need you to go to town and get the sheriff". "And what about you Becca? What are you going to do?" She asked. I took a deep breath and stare deep into her eyes. "I'm going to kill him".

She looks back in my eyes and nodded "Then do what you must". With that she walked out of the shed. I walked out behind her and headed to the direction of the cemetery. When I got there I called out for Scarlet.

She appears within a second. I nodded my head and she understood what is about to happen next. "Be careful Becca". With that she disappeared. I headed back to the shed and looked around.

There were so many weapons. I didn't notice them because my back was facing them. I took up a few throwing knives, a butcher knife and I also took up a small hand gun. I hid the gun in my waste band and headed for the house.
