Chapter 8 - Betrayal

'I wish Alby could've seen all this.' Newt sighed as me, Thomas, Frypan and Minho were looking at the camp. We were sitting on top of a mountain.

'And Winston.' Frypan added.

'And Chuck.' Thomas looked down. 'Have you guys seen Teresa?' He asked after a few seconds of silence.

'Yeah. I think she's up there.' Newt pointed at a shadow standing on top of a mountain.

'Okay. Thanks.' Thomas got up and headed off to the mountain.

'What's the next place y'all are going?' I asked Vince as we all sat around a small fire. It was already dark. 'Harriet said that you guys move places all the time.'

'Somewhere in the mountains.' Vince looked at me. 'To bring all these kids away from WICKED. We're planning to get some more kids out of there in the meanwhile.'

'Okay.' I looked at the fire until I heard a noise coming from the sky. I looked up and saw small lights appearing. 'What the-.'

'What's that?' Minho said with a tone of confusion in his voice.

Vince squeezed his eyes together and looked at the lights. 'I think it's a helicopter.' He got up from his chair. 'Something is wrong.' He said worried. 'Guys, go to the-.'

Vince got cut off by a loud explosion that caused fire all over the camp.

'Go, go!!' Vince shouted at us. More bombs started dropping down from the helicopters.

I just stood there in shock with my mouth wide open. 'Raven!' Newt grabbed me arm and pulled me away.

A helicopter started getting closer to the ground and a people that wore masks and black suits jumped out.

'It's WICKED!' I shouted at the others when I recognized the guards.

'Where's Thomas?!' Newt asked while we tried not to get shot.

'Harriet!' I heard Vince shout as he threw a gun towards her and they both started shooting a the guards.

'Vince! Harriet!' We started running towards the car that they were standing on.

'Over here!' Harriet shouted at us.

'How can we help?' I quickly asked them.

'You need to cover us!' Harriet replied as Vince shot someone.

'You know how to use this?' Vince looked at Minho with a gun in his hands. Minho grabbed it and started firing at the guards.

'You need to cover us!' Vince shot someone.

'This fifty is our only chance!' Harriet and Sonya gave all of us a gun and we started shooting.

'Vince, hurry up!' Newt shouted worried after a while. 'There's to many of them!' Newt said frustrated.

'I'm out!' Frypan shouted.

'Look out!' Newt grabbed my arm and tried to pull me away, but it was too late. A guard had thrown some kind of bomb at us.

'Shit!' Vince shouted before it exploded.

When it landed on the car it exploded and it electrocuted all of us.

We fell on our knees and weren't able to move. Guards walked towards us with their guns still pointed at us. They started dragging us towards the middle of the camp.
