I had worked so hard to be a pillar just like my uncle though it was clear he had no faith in me telling me I was just like my father weak and pathetic so when I got announced I was a new pillar I could see his frown from the other side of the room as I had proved him wrong which he hated the most. After talking to most of the others my uncle walked over his arms still crossed "so you did make it after all" "of course I did, I told you I would and now I proved you wrong" "you won't be here for long I'll make sure of it" I heard him mutter before leaving.
Doing my best just to ignore him and work with the others if necessary which was a lot at first as I was new but soon they let me be more independent. Lately the others were telling me he wanted to work with me and wasn't as bad as I thought he just didn't want to lose me like hos brother which was understandable he didn't want to lose another family member. Because when I was younger I remember being close to him until my father got killed on the job making him try scare me away from the same fate but I wasn't the same as my father which I tried showing and telling him but he wouldn't listen.
Glaring at my uncle who was blocking my door as I was called for a job but he wouldn't let me leave me the house "get out my way uncle, I need to do my job" "your not going, you'll end up like your father if you do" "I know it's the man who killed him but I will get my revenge on him" "you won't becuase your not leaving, I will protect you no matter what the cost even if you despise me at least your alive under my protection."
