Your eyes fluttered open, delicately. You stretched your arms out of your futon and reached for Tanjiro's hands. You had stayed at his place for the night after all. When your warm hands reached his colder ones, he hummed but didn't leave his slumber. "Tanjiro," you called gently. He hummed, his throat, dried from the sleep. He brought his hands to his eyes, scrubbing his fists gently. "(y/n)?" You reached for your partner's hand, intertwining your fingers together. "I'll have to get ready to leave. Nezuko's waiting for me." Truth be told, you were nervous. You and Tanjiro had officially been together for 4 months. You had planned to officially announce your relationship to her in the following week, it was clear and prepared but then she invited you to her place. Out of the blue. Seeing panic cloud your eyes, Tanjiro freed his hand from your embrace to gently brush your cheek. "Relax. I'm sure she just wants to catch up with you. You always got along." his words were sweet and reassuring. You were most likely thinking too far again. He always managed to bring you back to the present. You smiled. "You're right. I'm getting worried for nothing." After all, he had planned this meeting properly because he knew just how much it stressed you out to improvise on such important matters. "It's never for nothing. You should follow your gut. Your tolerance level to stress is just lower than others."

"You're right." you smiled. You stretched. "I'll come to gather my things after."

"No worries!"

Chats and laughter. That had been your day with Nezuko. Just like every time you met up, she finished by serving you her homemade tea, warm and floral.

"Thank you very much for welcoming me today, Agatsuma-san. It was lovely." you bowed.

"No need to be so polite. We're family now."

You choked. "S-S-Sorry?"

She smiled. It was a warm, opened one and yet it sent shivers down your spine. What if she was hurt no one told her? "You must wonder how I know?" What if she doesn't approve!? You looked down at the floor, holding on to the cup of tea for dear life. "(l/n)-san? (l/n)-san?" It didn't work. She changed her approach. " (y/n)-san? (y/n) (l/n)!"

"Yes!" Nezuko laughed delicately at your behaviour. "Oh (y/n). I approve of you two if that's what you're all tensed up for." You blushed. "Really?" You expectingly looked at her. Her pink eyes sweetened at your demeanour. "Of course. I couldn't have thought of a better fit!" The 20 years old said, smiling brightly. "So....how long has it been?"

"It's funny you say that. Actually, Tanjiro and I planned on telling you everything next week." She smiled and clapped, blooming like the sunshine. "So that's what Tanjiro wanted! Too bad, I was faster!"

The bamboo doors opened, revealing Zenitsu. The back of his neck was now covered by longer blonde hair, reaching to his shoulders. His bangs didn't change the slightest. He stood there, uncertain whether to come in or not as he noticed his wife was violently clapping her hands and laughing. "Did I barge in at the wrong moment?" Nezuko jumped on her feet with an impressive speed and jumped around, her locks floating around. "I was right, they're together. Isn't that wonderful!?" she asked, grabbing his hands. "Huh?" He smiled. Probably not because he understood what was happening but just because he was happy that Nezuko was such in a good mood.

It was with pink cheeks that you entered Kamado's house. "We won't have to tell her a thing."

"Huh?"

"She knows!"
