He'd be an awkward awesome dad.
He'd be quiet and silent, observing his children from afar. I can clearly see him watching the gremlins climb trees in silence.
Giyuu is quiet, not because he hates others but because he is afraid of losing someone he holds dear, which is why he keeps everyone at a distance. (at least that's what I've personally deciphered from his character) For those who read the manga, we see a clear difference between the training Arc and even more in the Final Arc where he shows his true colours. Yet, always and strictly toward and with Tanjiro.
Like, he wouldn't be the type of dad to do a lot of familial activities but he'd be the best to just be there, listen and support them. Like just holding his crying kids who just got hurt like: "Now, now..."
Growing up, his kids would never doubt his love for them and at the end of the day, that's what makes a dad: their love.
