She lacked nothing of the material or emotional nature, she was born in a wonderful family where she was adored not only by her parents but also her grandmother. In school she was loved by everyone for, she was the girl who could volunteer her way into anything and would good at it on first try. She was captain of the basketball team even when her tiny delicate form didn't look like it could handle any amount of roughness or the height that the sport demanded. But her stature and physical ability combined with the fierce nature of her attitude to fight what was right, was the main reason she was nicknamed 'Tigrerra. She was and continues to be a tiny bundle of fierceness, a princess who on the inside, housed one of the deadliest things you could encounter. Her friends called her Tiggy when she allowed them to, and her enemies called her Tiger, something she couldn't avoid as life was a bed of roses, fragrant yet prickly.

Though her parents were divorced, they were best friends who lived across each other, not just because of her, but because despite not having a successful marriage, they had one of the most successful friendships she had witnessed in her short life. Her father was remarried to a younger woman, but her mother could not seem to want to settle with one particular guy, a trait that seemed maternally inherited.

Sometimes, Tiggy actually thought her mother had never been one to want the marriage in the first place. No matter what, as strange as the creature that she called mother was, she did try to set a good example for her but naturally, her mother was known to never take anything seriously claiming that it made her life interesting. This was something that Tigrerra would always laugh at, as the similarity between her mother and grandmother was uncanny yet the two would rather both be caught dead than admit that. It is with this freedom of thought and exposure to alternative lifestyles that she truly knew her maternal relations were not women who believed in eternal love and in matters of the heart. They lived for the moment and each moment was heavily invested in no matter how small it was.

Tiggy didn't understand their need to hide their nature but she never questioned it, she was grateful to have both of them in her life. Not only did they love her, but they made life very dramatic with the as they never seemed to escape its grasp no matter how quite they claimed they wanted to be. Their grandmother to avoid clashing with the societal expectations, after being labelled a witch several times, lived in a remote village far away from them which she claimed to be her own small world as she had no neighbors as she lived in a valley on the side of a hill slope. Despite living alone, she was up to date with everyone in her life and always had something to say, so maybe there was something about her witchy ways that did seem true.

Tiggy's older brother had somehow inherited the maternal weird nature. Rufus, had tried to charm himself out of the family reach a feat he had yet to fully succeeded in. The parents had forced a rule on him, he was forced to visit either their mother or grandmother every weekend for a family dinner and if not, to visit their father. Rufus was adopted before Tiggy was born and he claimed that his reasons for leaving was the family's overprotective nature. To some extent, Tiggy agreed with him but she also knew deep down it was a clash on his identity that was the biggest motivator for his need to travel. This is in addition to the fact that he didn't get along with their step mother as he had been very hurt by their father's remarriage, unlike Tiggy.

Rufus had been the most uncomfortable when it came to adjusting to the routine of living in one house one week, and the other the next week right from the beginning. However, as more time passed, things seemed to be working out as life fell into place. Home was a word that had evolved, it had not remained the same but it was much better than the screaming and arguing that had been there just before the split. Notwithstanding, Rufus and Tiggy were excited when their parents separated as it made life better. Both parents were easily available to them and they no longer felt the need to run off to their grandmother when things got tough.

Yet, this normal looked too calm and the storm was brewing. Tiggy's normal was coming to a startling halt as reality of the true nature would finally hit home for everyone. Even those who thought that the old had been long dead, those that feared that the world was coming to an end, finally had the scales from their eyes washed away. In tears, in pain, but with courage they came to understand that what they knew was a lie hidden with both good and bad intentions. There was wonder as they recognized that they truly fail to really to see the bigger picture. They lost the opportunity to see that beneath all that pain, there was a soul so pure and true that it would sacrifice its eternity for their liberation. The question in their mind now is whether the painting of a future foretold would be better than the present.
