Even while in a bubble of her best friend and peers, the day went by so slowly with her anticipating for whatever was coming to get on but it didn't manifest. Because of being on her toes the whole day, Tiggy was really tired as she headed home.

"Mother, why isn't anyone helping them? I haven't seen new people who are moving and no one goes to help them."Tiggy asked immediately she put her bag donw.

"What are talking about Tiggy?"

"Well, there are new neighbors moving in across the street but nobody is there to help them."

"That is strange, usually Carrie is the first to find out these things and she would not have kept quiet about it. Why don't you go and check in with them, maybe it was a sudden move. I have a yoga session this evening, so I might prove useless to offer any help but we gotta start on the right foot."

"Okay, is that your new boyfriend you are calling yoga? Last time he was church meeting."

"Honey, we will not discuss my love life. I am going for yoga, be careful." She kissed her and left.

"Okay mom, have fun then."

They had never talked about her mother's secret affairs in detail and they were never going to but she liked teasing. Her mother was a liberal-conservative and even when she had divorced, she had insisted on not revealing it to anyone for a long time. That was a good thing because it had turned her parents into best friends when they covered for each other to neighbors and friends which in turn helped then recover. Through their first affairs, they supported each other and analyzed each other's lovers often needing the other to approve first. They had learnt to rely on each other again and their bond had become even stronger. Her father's new wife was actually her mother's favorite person among her father's lover. It was she that had advised him to settle with her knowing well that her father could not handle casual affairs. Also because of this fact, it angered her step mother more whenever someone tried to compare them. The fact that she had to be approved by the ex was a big blow and for that Tiggy knew it took courage to accept their reality.

"Hello, can I help?" She asked the girl who was struggling to lift a box from the van.

The blonde girl turned to look at her with deep, sad, and threatening black eyes that didn't match at all with the sweet smile she gave her. Her her hair pulled in a bun which exposed the beaded earrings she wore and Tiggy didn't understand why they reminded her of her grandmother. On the neck of the girl was a silver necklace supporting a dragon pendant and Tiggy could have sworn she saw its eyes move to look directly at her.

"No thanks, my brother will come to help."

"Ok, but I don't mind. It could make you move in faster and rest."

"No, we don't need help." another girl with black hair and strange other worldly grey eyes, walked to them and spoke.

This girl also had a necklace with a dragon pendant too and the same thing happened, the eyes moved to look at her. The dragons were not similar but it was strange that the whole family would have that in common. Tiggy could also see the same necklace on all the others as they came and looked at her as if she were a strange being. The feeling that she had in the morning settled as if a burden had been out on her shoulders and she couldn't put them down. There was the feeling of responsibility and she felt drawn to make sure that they settled well and they were accommodated to their satisfaction.

"Well, I can help." she said and instead of answering her, everyone starred at her and while she tried to ignore them, she saw him standing behind everyone else.

He had dark and piercing eyes, his face seemed to exude abundance of knowledge that the person didn't really want to have. He stood there confidently looking at her as if she wasn't worth his time and it irked her a little bit. Usually, nobody intimidated her and the fact that her guy looked like he was trying was quite interesting. That is when she knew, she had found him. She knew that even if anyone was to say otherwise and; if they tried, she would fight to the end to have him, her energy called out to him and she was still looking at him when there was a kind of sparkle that came to his eye. Everyone turned to him as if by instinct they had seen that sparkled and they were alarmed by it.

"We need to get inside fast." One of the girls said.
