Chapter 3

The next week our t.v. came in the mail and we were taking it to the room.

"Hey Jemima." Ian said when we ran into him in the elevator.

"Hi Ian." I said.

"Do you guys need some help with the t.v. because i could ask my friend Matt to come over?" he offered going through his mail.

"Yeah. Could you? We aren't so good at the tech stuff." Cassidy said trying to hold in the squeal.

"Okay. I will call him as soon as I help you two take your stuff to your room." he told us. 

We got the box into the room and we waited for Ian to come by with his friend Matt.

"What should I say when I see him?" Cassidy asked.

"How about hi? He is just a normal guy after all." I told her.

About half an hour later Ian came back with Matt.

"Hi. You served us once right?" Matt asked.

"Um, yeah. I'm Jemima. If you didn't remember." I told him.

"And I'm Cassidy." Cassidy squeaked.

Matt understood that she was a fan and gave her a hug.

Matt finished setting up the t.v. and Cassidy made through it with minimum squealing.

"Hey do you guys want to come over to my apartment? We are inviting some friends over to watch a movie." Ian asked.

"Yeah, okay." I told him as Cassidy nodded, speechless.

"Come over in an hour." he told us.

Him and Matt left but, before Matt left he hugged Cassidy again. I think he likes her. 

"So what are you going to wear to the movie?" Cassidy asked.

"Oh I don't know. Maybe I should wear my gown that looks like I am going to the Golden Globes." I said sarcastically.

She rolled my eyes at me and opened up the first book 'the hunger games'. 

"Are we going?" I asked Cassidy.

"Yeah. I'm ready." Cassidy said leaving her room.

She was wearing black skinny jeans and a pink shirt. Her beach blonde hair was tide back in a loose bun. I felt under dressed in my jeans and t-shirt.

We walked across the hall to Ian's apartment.

"Hey guys!" Ian said opening the door.

"Hi." I said.

"You already know Josh and Mike. These are their girlfriends Amanda and Meghan." Ian introduced us.

I waved awkwardly. Josh had his arm around his girlfriend and Mike was holding Meghan's hand. We started on the movie and Ian asked me to help him in the kitchen. I looked over at Cassidy who had Matt whispering into her ear.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" Ian asked.

"Looking for a job. All of my parents money isn't going to last forever." I told him.

"What do you mean by that?" he asked.

"They died three months ago in a car accident." I told him.

"I'm so sorry." he said.

"It's okay."

"So, do you want to go out to dinner tomorrow?" he asked.

I looked into his eyes. Was he serious?

"Sure." I told him.

I was very excited. My first thought was that I needed to tell Cassidy. When I looked over at her it looked like her mouth was to occupied to congratulate me. That's right she was kissing Matt. After the movie Cassidy and I went back to our apartment.

"Cassidy. Guess what." I said.

"What?" she asked.

"I have a date tomorrow night." I told her. 

"No way! Now we are both in a relationship!" she exclaimed.

I couldn't sleep that night. Was Cassidy right? Will Ian be my new boyfriend?
