Your lady was gently rubbing your back as you caught your breath. "Isn't used to blood I see." Lady Dimitrescu said disappointed.

That's when your Lady snapped. "She saw the corpse of her mother! Of fucking course she won't be used to blood!" That was the first time you heard your lady swore. Same with her voice, she never yelled.

Your lady grabbed a napkin and help cleaned you up. "I'm finishing your damn dress then we are leaving. Immediately." Your lady growled as she went back to the dress.

You watched as Cassandra dragged the bleeding maid out of the room, screaming and crying all the way. Then a group of maids came in and started to clean up the blood and your vomit. Lady Dimitrescu looked rather annoyed and disappointed, especially while looking at you.

Your lady was going faster than she normally would. You didn't understand why she continued to help Lady Dimitrescu, but you weren't in any position to decide. For the rest of the time you finished your drawing of Angie and you were very pleased with how it turned out.

"What's with the smile maid?" Lady Dimitrescu asked before taking a sip of wine. You didn't want to be rude and possibly escalate the current situation, so you went ahead and showed Lady Dimitrescu your drawing.

"Hmm? You've got a talent for art. I'm impressed." You felt the stare of your lady as you showed Lady Dimitrescu the drawing. You quickly flipped the book back into your lap, closing it gently.

"Here is the documents you requested." A maid said suddenly appearing next to Lady Dimitrescu. With a warm smile, Lady Dimitrescu took the folder.

"Thank you Alexis. Please stay won't you?" Alexis nodded and took a seat next to you. The maid named Alexis looked at you with a small smile.

"You must be Lady Beneviento's maid. It's a pleasure to met you. I'm Alexis." You grabbed your writing book and wrote down your words very carefully. You flipped the book around and leaned forward for Alexis could read it better.

Pleasure to meet you as well, Alexis. I'm Y/n.

"Oh? Do you have bad anxiety?" Alexis asked.

You shook your head no and quickly wrote.

I'm unable to talk because I was born mute.

Alexis made a 'o' shape with her mouth. "I'm sorry to hear that, but clearly you've pushed forward!" A smile came to your lips. Alexis was very cheerful and sweet.

Alexis sat next to you after awhile of the pair of you chatting. Lady Dimitrescu didn't seem to mind but you couldn't help but notice that your lady did. That was until the question got asked of how you liked working for Lady Beneviento. You answered honestly.

I love working for Lady Beneviento. It's fun to play with Angie or help her around the house or the garden. It's calm and peaceful there and I can fall asleep easy to the sounds of the waterfall. In all honesty, I would never want to leave.

Alexis read this out loud and you briefly saw your Lady put her hands over her chest. Lady Dimitrescu let out a pleasure hum.

"It appears that you've found a friend, Donna. One that doesn't wish to leave your side. I wonder how long that will last, especially once she sees what's under the veil."

You knew that was a direct jab at your Lady. It did anger you that Lady Dimitrescu was being so rude to her. Your Lady is fixing her dress for God sake! Have some respect! Lady Beneviento was near the end of the dress with a few more threading to do. You took a sip of your somewhat cold tea and waited patiently.

"NO! Get it! Get it!" You hear one of the sister's yell. Angie then zoomed into the room all panicked.

"Angie?" Donna asked, hoping that the doll would answer her so she doesn't have to read its mind.

"It's-It's escaped while we were playing hide and seek!" Angie said panicked. "It almost ate me!"

"What escaped?" Lady Dimitrescu demanded.

"It was a-"

A loud screech cut Angie off. Then, out of nowhere a creature that looked like a woman with wings lunged at you and stabbed you with its long tongue.

"A Samcă!" Angie yelled.

Everyone was so taken back by the sadden attack. The creature kept clawing at you and stabbing you with its tongue. Blood pooled underneath you as your head, shoulders and neck started to bleed. It was getting hard to breathe as you were gasping for air while trying to push the creature off of you.

Once the shock factor was over, Donna then screamed while Lady Dimitrescu with her claws out and ready, then  ripped it off you you before cutting into pieces. There you laid on the floor, with blood coming out of your mouth and body twitching. You felt a vary familiar cold feeling creep up inside you. Your eyes fluttered closed with the last thing you see is your Lady standing over you.

Donna was panicking, you were dying. There was no way to stop the bleeding in time.

"Donna! What are we going to do!? She's going to die!" Angie said jumping up and down.

"I-I don't know!"

How could she let this happen again? It was like the world was out to kill you or was it trying to torment her? Lady Dimitrescu stood next to Donna looking at the mess before her. Lady Dimitrescu was disappointed with this predicament. How did one of the Samcă escape? And why did it got straight for you?

With a heavy sigh, Lady Dimitrescu said, "Donna, you either let her die or give her the Cadou. That's the only thing that can save her."

Donna's hand were shaking. There was no way she or Alcina could get a jar of the Cadou in time to you. Time was running out and there was one option left that Donna didn't want to do to you, but she needs you.

"We don't have time to go get a jar, it's too far." With a shaky sigh, Donna took off her veil, making Angie and Lady Dimitrescu gasp in shock. "I'm giving her my Cadou."

"Donna," Lady Dimitrescu said lowly. "If you do this, she with be forever connected to you."

"I know, but... I don't want to lose her. And you!" Donna said looking directly at Alexis. "You don't say a word about what you see!"

"Yes ma'am!"

Donna ordered Alexis to get her the necessary tools to operate on you. Donna was prying that you would survive and continue to live. With the tools in hand, Donna began to remove a good part of her Cadou, like with her dolls and put it into you. The Cadou pulsed as it got a feel for your body. It soon buried itself into your head, spreading and attaching quickly.

The bleeding then stopped and now it was the ultimate test of patience. Would you survive? Or will you crumble and die? Donna was not leaving your side.
