Once again you felt your body floating in the dark abyss. It was almost like you were submerged in water. It was odd because you felt yourself breathing, but you felt the pressure like you couldn't breathe. Your whole body tensed up as pain shot through your head. Your pained groans echoed out into the void.

Donna watched as your lips parted slightly with a pained expression on your face. She was bitting her bottom lip out of nervousness. Angie did her best to calm Donna down as everyone waited. Lady Dimitrescu went to call Mother Miranda for her insight which Donna was against in fear of Miranda taking you.

"Everything will be fine, Donna. I promise. Y/n will pull through this." Angie's words brought some comfort. Donna watched as you groaned again, moving your head to your right.

"I can see she means a lot to you, Lady Beneviento." Alexis spoke gently. "I can most definitely tell that you mean a lot to her. I'm guessing that's why my Lady was teasing and testing you so much."

Donna had put her veil back on before fully looking at Alexis. "And how can you tell?" Donna asked.

"How can I tell? Just from the conversation I've had with her today. She speaks very highly of you and sees you as a very close friend with a lot in common. She did mention that you also spoke Italian and that made her happy to know that she wasn't the only one. Small things like that make a huge difference in any relationship."

Donna felt her heart flutter.

"She did tell me about a family member that died and how you were there for her." Alexis continued. "I believe there is a deep passion that she has for you and I say that because she said no matter what she sees under the veil, she'll stay by your side."

"She... She told you this?"

Alexis nodded. "She was very open with me, but I think she was trying to be respectful of you and you boundaries."

Donna was thankful that her veil hid the blush she had. But all of that came to an end when Donna felt a sharp pain in her head, causing her lean forward in pain with her hand on the parasite on her face. As painful as it was, this was a good sign.

The pain you were feeling was nothing you've ever felt before. It felt like your head was getting ripped open. You wanted to scream, you wanted to get out. You felt like you were trapped and paralyzed. Your right eye throbbed in pain as you felt something move in your head and underneath your skin. It scared you. But soon all that pain subsided and with one final body twitch, you felt fine.

Donna was finally able to get up off the floor since the pain stopped. "What was that about?" Angie asked.

"That was the final faze of the Cadou. Luckily it didn't reject her and now we are connected. That's why I was in pain. I felt what she felt and now she can do the same."

With a sigh, Donna sat back on her knees. Donna looked you over and watched as the wounds from the Samcă healed completely. Donna felt relief wash over her as your breathing went back to normal.

"Well, that was fast."

Everyone whipped their head over to see Mother Miranda with Lady Dimitrescu following behind. Alexis bowed as Miranda walked by her and in turn Miranda gave her a warm smile and nod. Miranda's attention then turned to you as your body laid on the floor, still in a pool of your own blood.

Miranda examined your body and very easily found the Cadou. "Alcina said you used your Cadou?" Miranda asked.

"Yes, mother. I did." Donna said quietly.

Miranda checked your pulse, then your eyes, body reflex and then she placed her hand on your head where the Cadou is. "Luckily it didn't reject her, she seems fine and her wounds healed very quickly." Miranda then stood up. "Let her rest for a few days and get used to the changes and then have her see me. From what I sense, she will have quite the development. Possibly in your favor, Donna."

Donna wasn't the only one in the room who was now interested in what your possible out come of abilities might be, especially if it's in Donna's favor. After that, Miranda started talking to Alcina about the sudden attack and mood change of the Samcă. Donna went ahead and picked you up bridal style while Angie laid on you. Alexis assisted Lady Beneviento out and wished everyone the best of luck.

Angie helped open the door and closed it when Donna entered. With you still in her arms, Donna carried you all the way down into the basement to her bed. Donna asked Angie to move the sheets so she could lay you down. Once flat, Donna covered you up.

"What do you think her powers are going to be? And how will they benefit you?" Angie asked.

"I don't know. We will have to wait and see. I have a feeling Mother Miranda will give us an idea, especially if she's doing blood tests."

You laid in what felt like warm cocoon. You couldn't help but smile and you snuggled deeper into the warmth. It kind of reminded you of when you would sleep in your mother's bed. A sigh left your lips as you got lost in the comfort and fuzziness.

"She looks very comfortable." Angie pointed out.

"She dose." Donna said with a smile. In that moment, watching you sleep made Donna's heart flutter and beat slightly faster. This new and sudden behavior from Donna didn't go unnoticed by Angie.

"Oooh! Someone has a crush!" Angie giggled.

"Angie." Donna growled.

"What! It's true and you know it! The question is, when do you plan on acting?"

"Acting?" Donna questioned.

"Yeah! When do you plan on telling her?"

Donna tensed up.

"Oh, Donna!" Angie whined. "You heard what Alexis said! Y/n likes you just as much as you like her."

"I know, but-"

"But nothing! She is connected to you now, just like I am. She will find out sooner or later. Don't talk yourself out of what you want."

Donna stayed silent. Angie was right but at the same time, getting close to someone scares her. Then again, Donna thought back to the dinning table event. How you sat in her lap to make her feel better and the you nuzzling into her neck like that. It almost made Donna lose control of her self. She almost went feral.

You shifted in the bed, earning Donna and Angie's attention.

"She's waking up. Angie, don't startle her." Donna warned.

"I didn't plan on it." Angie said hopping over you legs and getting comfortable by laying on you.

You breathed out as your eyes opened. Even with you vision being a bit blurry, you could tell that you were no longer at the castle. You were back home with your Lady. When your vision got more clear, you saw Angie laying on you as happy as she can be. This brought a smile to your face, but then you saw Lady Beneviento.

You looked at her before reaching your hand out to her. Lady Beneviento sat onto the bed and took your hand gently. You squeezed her hand gently as you closed your eyes. You felt safe. You felt like you belong here, with your Lady.
