Early next morning you were the first one up and dressed. Before going to the kitchen, you got Donna's clothes out and ready for her. As you ascended into the kitchen, you saw Angie, limp on the dinning table. You assumed that Donna forced her to sleep sometime yesterday.

With a pep in your step and small smile, you got to work on making breakfast. It wasn't anything complicated, just a simple breakfast. Oatmeal with freshly cut fruit, some fesh brewed tea and a few slices of toast. For some reason you had the feeling that Angie would be very hungry and so you made sure to make extra.

The smell of food lingered through out the house, slowly stirring Donna awake. Feeling an odd coldness, she peeked her eye open and realized that you weren't next to her, but you were in the house. She could sense that. With a slight huff, Donna pulled herself up out of bed. To her surprise, her clothes were laid out for her.

Donna couldn't help the smile on her face and the warmth that she felt within her chest. What's done has been done and you both didn't regret last night one bit.

You carefully set the plates and silverware onto the table, making sure that everything was in order. As you got the food on the plates, you heart started to pick up. Immediately, you recognized that Donna was now awake and making her way up here.

"Ow... My neck."

Your eyes shifted to Angie who was now creaking and groaning. Upon seeing you, Angie beamed.

"Goodmorning! Goodmorning!" She rushed out.

You tilted your head before grabbing your book.

What's got you so excited this morning?

"What's got me excited? Your like my sister now! Just like Donna, you and I are connected as well! It's hard to contain the excitement!" Angie bounced.

That made sense.

"I'm glad to see you two talking." Donna said entering the room.

You turned your attention to Donna with a smile on your face. You moved out of the way to show what you had prepared. It was a nice sight to see Donna without her veil, her smile pure.

"Thank you, tesoro. I appreciate it."

"Come on! I'm hungry! Let's eat! Let's eat!" Angie jumped up and down into the table.

Donna put her finger on her lips, telling Angie to tone it down. Angie pouted, but sat down in her seat and ate like no tomorrow. Both you and Donna looked at Angie as she inhaled her food.

"I didn't think she could eat that much. Why is she acting like she hasn't eaten in years?" Your voice echoed in Donna's head.

"Probably because I forced her to sleep yesterday, without dinner." Donna replied as she took a bite out of her food.

You nodded and decided to finally eat. After breakfast, you made sure to clean the table and do the dishes. Now you were currently doing a little cleaning in Donna's workshop while she was writing in a book. You assumed it had to do with you which was fine. She was documenting your mutation progress but not just for Miranda, but for herself as well.

It was still odd to you that you could feel everything around the house. The dolls, the plants and whatever small animals wondered around. It was such a weird feeling to be able to know something that you weren't around to see. You just... knew.

You did find out that you can't always communicate with Donna and Angie through your mind. You end up getting sharp headaches or migraines. You let out a yawn as you lazily wrapped your arms around Donna's neck from behind. You rested your head on her shoulder.

A gentle giggle left Donna.

"Bored?" She asked.

You hummed softly in response.

"So cute." Donna whispered before giving you a quick kiss.

An uneasy feel filled your stomach, causing you to pull away from Donna. Your sharp gaze turned to the doors of the workshop.

"What's wrong?"

You straightened yourself and placed your hands behind your back. Seconds later a black cloud of crow feathers spread into the room. In the middle of all the feathers stood Mother Miranda, who had a amused smile on her face.

"Impressive. You sensed me before I got here."

Donna released the air she was holding in.

"Also, nice to see you without your veil, Donna." Miranda commented.

"Ah, yes, thank you, Mother."

Miranda took a seat in one of the empty chairs.

"So," Miranda stated. "I've done some research on Y/n's blood and found out some interesting things."

You stood next to Donna as she was getting slightly nervous.

"One of the first things that showed was that she has an ability to amplify feelings and emotions. I would like to explore that ability more to see if she can make people feel how she wants them to feel. Or make the allusion more of a reality." Miranda said.

Yeah, you and Donna both figured that ability out. Really quickly.

"Obviously her senses are extremely heightened which isn't something I see very often. If at all. Now, I found out that she can produce pheromones. Very similar to yours, Donna and that her body is able to produce your flowers pollen."

This peaked your interest as well as Donna's.

"I'm assuming she can control it for now until stress or fear kicks in." Donna said quietly.

Miranda nodded at Donna's words. "Again, I would like this to be tested with. Whether you or I do it doesn't matter to me as long as you keep me looped in. Or if you need something or someone to aid you in this."

You for some reason had a feeling that Miranda was talking about using people from the village. Part of you hated that and the other didn't seem to care. That's what scared you, but you kept your composure.

"I would prefer to do it myself, keeping you looped of course. I will let you know if I require anything or if anything happens."

"Good." Miranda said. "Well, I'll be off then. If I discover anything else I'll let you know."

As Miranda got up to the door, she turned around and looked at you, then Donna.

"Donna," Miranda spoke lowly. "I will say that because she is now marked, she is to attend meetings from now on. Don't forget."

With that, Miranda disappeared without a trace. You were to attend meetings now? I guess since she marked you that means you are now wrapped up in whatever the Lords and Miranda now do.

You looked at Donna with half lidded eyes. You were really tired for some reason.

"Aww, poor thing." Donna whispered, her hand gently caressing your face. "Someone has been overdoing it with their powers. Sensory overload a little bit as well it seems."

You leaned into her touch, eyes gently closing.

"Come rest. We have work to do tomorrow and the days coming. Plus we need to get ready for the meeting."

You fell limp in Donna's arms as a sweet feeling of comfort embraced you. You had a lot of work to do, you didn't want to disappoint. You wanted to help Donna, be strong for her. Help her in anyway you can.

I mean, you are together after all. You both share your burdens and you will help carry it.
