The next day Dior and Addie were walking to the new Diner when a woman came running out of nowhere and knocked them over.

"Sorry!" She yelled as she continued to run.

Addie and Dior got up, muttered a few curse words and made their way to the restaurant again. At the Diner, Dior and Addie took their seats. (Ponyboy, Dally, Johnny, and Sodapop are there) Dior Sits at the end next to Ponyboy and Addie sits at the end next to dally.

"You guys made it." Soda says.

"Hmm, Yeah." Dior said "Where's everyone else?"

"Steve went to work early, Two-bit wanted to watch the Sunday episode of Mickey mouse. Darry is also working." Soda says while slurping some of his pepsi.

"Hey, Sodapop." A girl says.

Sodapop twists his head to see who it is.

"Oh, Hey, Allie." He responds.

"Whos this?" Addie says.

"This is my friend Allie. She went to my school before I dropped out and she's part of the gang." Soda says "Allie, I forgot you said you worked here."

"Yeahh, Todays the first day I've worked here." Allie said, Fidgeting with her pen "but it's been really fun!"

"Sounds cool." Soda Smiled

"Oh! I should take your orders!" Allie said.

They all ordered and ate their food. Dally then shooed her away. A little later after talking, the all parted ways to go do stuff.

"Soo, I noticed you and Dally seemed to be talking a lot." Dior said.

"Shut up, I hate him." Addie said while blushing.

"Hey hey, I just said you were talking a lot, nothing else."

They arrived back at their apartment.

"Hey, I'm going to take a shower," Dior says.

"Ok, I'm going to the grocery store." Addie responds.

On her way, She comes across someone familiar.

"Darry?" She says.

"Oh hey Addie," Darry responded back. "What's Going on?"

"Just getting groceries." Addie said.

"Ok." He says back. "What's a 13 year old like yourself getting groceries?"

"13!? I'm 17." Addie responds back angrily.

"Oh, you're short so maybe that's why I thought you were 13, like Dior." Darry responds back.

Addie scoffed. Who does he think he is? Addie thinks to herself.

"You have lots of explaining to do. Why don't we go to the park nearby? I hear they have good food." Darry says

"Are you hitting on me?" Addie asked.

"What? No." Darry said.

"Sure, Whatever. Lets go" Addie said, starting to Walk

At the park, Addie and Darry ordered their food and sat down at a nearby table. Addie got nachos and Darry got pork Nachos. They talked for a little bit while eating and once they almost finished eating, Darry brought up the question Addie had been avoiding.

"So, If your 17, why is a 13 year old living with you? Your age is 4 years apart."

Addie sighed. "You see, Dior had really mean parents. So i Quote-unquote "Adopted" Her."
