Hidden Quest Brings Truth

Ever since the fight with Pyrrha I've been feeling like a champ. I actually felt so good I ended up running an extra kilometer during my daily training.

-Push-ups [100/100]
-Sit-ups [100/100]
-Squats [100/100]
-Run [11/10km]

Huh. After all this time I had never thought to try more than the basic training... Because of my level-ups and stat increases, my body was automatically increasing in physical strength and agility. And yet...

Let's see if this does anything.

-Push-ups [200/100]
-Sit-ups [200/100]
-Squats [200/100]
-Run [20/10km]

It only keeps track of up to twice the normal amount...

[Item: Key to the Demon's Castle]
Level of Difficulty: S
Type: Key

This Key allows you to enter the Dungeon: Demons' Castle. This item can be used at the entrance to Beacon Tower.

Oh? I got a key. A hidden quest. I'm assuming this is the same as the previous dungeons I had entered into but at an extreme difficulty. I'm curious how I'd stack up against S ranks. Maybe I could make some time...

"Hey, Ruby."

"Hm?"

The shorter girl is stuffing her face beside me. After the two of us beat our second match, a 2-on-2 battle against Sun and Neptune, we were left to decide who would advance into the finals. Initially, entering the finals seemed very interesting. But in all honesty... It isn't, exactly, fame or recognition I'm doing this for. I guess maybe I'd like it, but I didn't become this strong with the desire to purely show off... And Ruby will improve the more she fights. Plus, while she does a few one-v-ones, I could take a trip to the S-rank Dungeon and practice. Maybe even complete it if I'm overestimating S-ranks.

Yeah. Let's give it to her. There's always next year, anyways. Now's about the only time I could get away with letting someone else try.

"You wanna do the finals?"

"Hrk! Kah!"

She chokes on her sweets, drinking a glass of milk to clear her throat.

"What?! Why?? You're the obvious pick for finals...!"

"Well... You've done quite an excellent job."

We are in our dorm room at the moment. The entire team.

Yang raises a hand.

"I actually agree. (Y/N) is... The strongest of us, much to my dismay... But you're the youngest Beacon student. Got here two years early. And you're the only one of us 3 girls that beat your opponent single-handedly. No outside interference."

"But Jaune isn't..."

"As experienced as you? Eh. Sure. I don't really care about that, though. I just wanna..."

I clear my throat, looking away in an attempt to be cool.

"See my girl go all out..."
