Satisfied after adding the bronzer which gives her a nice warm sunkissed look on her face, Anabela slightly smiles at herself before applying her signature red lipstick.
She neatly puts the contents of her makeup kit back in their place, which is the corner of her dressing table. She dabs her Channel no.5 perfume and takes her handbag before moving to the living room... She takes a look at her watch and opens the tv to distract herself.
Minutes later and she hears her car pulling up and a hoot. She stays grounded. Another hoot and she still doesn't move. A minute later and she's knocking on her door. Ana stands up and gracefully walks to the door.
She opens it and is met with a smiling Elica. Eli's smile blooms when she realizes what Ana is wearing. She's wearing silver high heels with blue jeans and a white shirt. Her hair is let down in stylish curls, her red lipstick making sure she's the star of the moment. The woman is a goodness.
What is making Elica's smile bloom despite the fact that the woman infront of her is not smiling is the fact that they are matching! It's as if they planned their outfits together... She Elica is wearing a stylish white tee with a pocket by her left boob, pale blue ripped jeans and white sneakers...
"Hi..." she grins looking up at Ana and hands her a bouquet of daffodils...
Ana looks at her without taking the flowers. As the seconds pass by she feels that there is something wrong...
"You are twelve minutes late De melo..." she says her warm voice devoid of any friendliness.
Elica's nerves creep up, she definitely wasn't expecting this... "I'm sorry, i stopped by the flower shop to get you these..." she tells her, her smile off her face now.
"Then you should have left home earlier so as to have time to get the flowers..." Ana states looking at her without a smile.
Elica is taken aback by Ana's mood. She panics... wonders if the woman even still wants to go out anymore...
Ana reaches out her hands and takes the bouquet, she walks into the house leaving her standing there, Eli looks away, not wanting to stare at her back and seem like a creep despite the heat she already feels in her face. She comes back about a minute later and closes the door, locking it.
Eli opens the passenger's for her and closes when she's in before going to the driver's seat and driving off. Eli opens the windows to ease the tension inside the car. She is never intimidated by anyone but this woman has her on the edge of her seat.
"Thank you for the flowers, and please don't ever be late with me again... next time you decide to be tardy with me, I'm cancelling whatever we had planned." Ana tells her.
Eli could have argued that it was only 12 minutes, but she sensed that it would have gotten her into more trouble and clearly Anabela Furtado disliked tardiness.
"I promise it won't happen again..."
"Good, so where are you taking me?" Anabela looks at the beautiful woman and for the first time today, she smiles at her and when Eli catches her look, she nearly falters at her beautiful smile and the way she looks at her...
"I told you it's a surprise..." she smiles and stares at the road ahead.
After about twenty minutes of driving, they enter a place which looks like a farm. "Sunsets' Winery" a small wooden sign reads as they enter the small farm.
"Wine tasting?" Ana smiles at her
"Yeah... something like that" Eli smirks at her.
They exit the car and Ana looks around the place... "Wow... this place is gorgeous... i have never seen anything like it before... it's so green, quiet... like the country side..." She looks back at Eli and smiles... "Thank you for bringing me here..."
