I slept until noon when I was woken up by my phone ringing. It was Jack. He said he was gonna come to me instead and asked for the address, oh what a relief I really didn't wanna get up! I sent him the address and 10 minutes later he arrives he walks through my front door. "Rose?" He asked.
"I'm in here" I yell out. He comes to my room and opens the door seeing me all cozy in bed. "God it's freezing in here! And dark" he said.
"Yes Iike it that way" I kind of say pouting.
"Here I uh.. put it in a Walmart bag for you" he said handing me bag.
"Just put it on the floor." I said.
"Kk" he set the bag on the floor next to my bed. He laughs. "What?" I ask.
"You look so cozy.. can I join?" He says with an innocent smile. I instantly sit up "Huh?" I ask. He crouches down to my level. "I said, can I join?" He says softly staring into my eyes. "I- sure?" I say. He laughs and gets in the bed with me. He was still wearing his pj's. We just face each other staring and he smiles. I hesitate to ask "hey uhm can you- ... Nevermind"
