^^^^^ Nico's Pov. ^^^^^
I was fighting with fists against Overhaul as Mirio tried to get in a hit, and I was trying to use the shadows with my punches to make them more powerful. he had the upper hand using the flesh to pump up his punches, we were going at it trying to land a hit when it hit me where is the flesh coming from, I looked over 1 second too late to find Mr. Fancy's mask barely moving, and before I could even blink, he shot both me and Mirio. I tried to access the wound using the small amount of medical knowledge Will had forced me to learn if I was ever hurt. it didn't seem fatal which was weird, with this dude's accuracy, he could easily have killed us if he wanted. then a look of pure panic fell on Mirio's face as he managed to say "my quirk doesn't work" before he passed out. I panicked but then from the corner, I heard sniffling coming from Eri and I made out her small voice saying, "please stop I don't want you to get hurt". That sparked something in me, and the shadows slowly leaked out of me creating a dome around me and Overhaul, he looked both surprised and scared as I said in my most intimidating voice, I had the shadows instantly grab him in a choke hold when I passed out due to all the shadows, I used F*ck.
^^^^^^ Izuku's Pov. ^^^^^^
I was running as fast as I could when I thought I heard Eri. I ran to that area so I could help and found both Nico and Mirio passed out and Overhaul just looking stunned. I quickly picked Eri up and used a powerful kick to get Overhaul away from Nico and Mirio's unconscious bodies. the kick had 50% power so I knew that I wouldn't be able to use that leg afterward but what I didn't expect is that my leg was still fine wtf?! Why is it not broken? Then I noticed Eri was glowing. suddenly everything fell into place, and I realized if I didn't keep breaking bones I wouldn't be here much longer. I quickly tied Limillion's cape to me making a sling for Eri and faced Overhaul who seemed to recover. before I went after I sent my location to the medic's which we planned if anyone was injured. (A/N agree to disagree but Izuku would ask to do this in missions) then I kicked Overhaul in the face.
I hope you enjoyed it ✨ and yes, I did add a major cliffhanger, as a writer I can confirm half of the fun is just adding cliffhangers.
