The sounds of laughter and chatter resonated inside of a big roller rink, joy was present on everybody's faces as everyone skated around on the glossy rink floor or played the few arcade games they had plastered spontaneously.
Joyful music blasted through the speakers at a gentle, but noticable volume.

Sal, Y/N, Larry, and a bunch of their friends now sat in a few booths waiting on the food they ordered. Y/N was having a great time, but spotted something that made her frown slightly and shift uncomfortably.

Ashley Campbell, stood not to far off from the booths they were all sitting in - staring at their happy faces with a glare.

Ashley wore a purple, tight, long sleeve shirt with a a black chocker and a pair of cargo pants. She wore black platform heels on her feet and had her long brown hair down.

Y/N poked Sal and he turned to Y/N.

"Why is she here?"
Y/N asked Sal.

Sal raises an eyebrow in confusion about who she was talking about but then turned to where Y/N's gaze was. Ashley saw Sal looking at her and she smiled as a faint blush appeared on her face. Ashley pushed a piece of her hair behind her ear and waved at Sal.

Sal waved back then turned to Y/N once more.
"Well, she's one of our friends, I invited her."

Y/N scowled. Ashley was not her friend. There is just something off about her. She is very "stalkery" and creeps Y/N out.
"She's your friend. Not mine."

Sal looked at her in confusion. Why was she upset?
"Are you jealous of her, Y/N?"
Sal teases.

Y/N's eyes widened and she scoffed at his accusation.
"No I am not 'jealous'. I just think it's weird you'd invite your ex to our anniversary party."

"Oh come on, Y/N. She's my friend, can't you just deal with it for tonight?"
Sal pleaded.

Y/N didn't want to 'just deal with it for tonight', she wanted Ashley to leave. However, she wouldn't let this ruin her anniversary. So, Y/N sucked it up and nodded.

"Fine. But one wrong move or word comes from her and I swear to god,"

Sal laughs and hugs Y/N's side.
"Thank you,"

After Sal let go of Y/N and she watched as Ashley began walking over to the two of them. Just as they started conversing, Y/N stood up from her seat and began walking off to the arcade section of the roller rink. She just needed to cool off.

Y/N wouldn't admit it to Sal but she would admit to herself she is a little jealous. It wasn't the fact that Sal and Ashley were friends, it was just that Ashley seemed to still have some sort of obsession with Sal. It made her frustrated and scared that Ashley might be able win Sal back or something.
