"I can't believe it, I don't even want to do this stupid play, but now I have to audition for a part in it!"
Y/N said furiously.

Travis lightly laughs.
"Don't sweat it, Y/N. You'll do great."

"It's not me 'doing great', that I'm worried about, it's the fact that I will have to be playing a role Infront of the entire school! I mean, I already have enough trouble with presenting just Infront of the class alone!"
Y/N slouched in her seat.
"I might just beg Mrs. Simon to let me be a back stage hand."

"Everyone will be playing a part! There is no need for any back stage staff, we have other students who have spares during our time on stage, so they will be helping us out."
Mrs. Simon said.

"Oh, come on!"
Y/N slammed her head against hers and Travis' desk table.

"Okay, Courtney Sinclair, you're up!"
Mrs. Simon announced.

A teenage girl with bright blonde hair and a curvy, tall build walked out onto stage. She was dressed in a tight pink skirt and a pink skin tight sweater with diamond jewelry as accessories.

The entire Drama class was now sitting in the 'Drama room', where plays are put on and auditions take place.

When you first walk in, you are met with rows on rows of read velvet seats for any and all audience to sit.
All of the chairs face a large stage in the front of the entire room, with big red curtains that drape down to the very smooth surface of the stage floor.

There are big lights that hang from the ceiling, which point to certain areas on stage to provide any who are performing a spot light, so all the attention would be on them while they play their part.

The students that have already auditioned for the roles they wanted, are sitting in the second row, just behind where Mrs. Simon and Mrs. Phelps were sitting.
The rest of the students who still need to preach the lines of their desired character stand behind the long velvet red curtains, waiting for their name to be called.

While Courtney did her lines for the role of Juliet, Y/N and Travis stood next to each other with the other students behind the curtains.

"Oh god..."
Y/N mumbled under her breath.

"Y/N, how many times do I have to say it? You'll do great! Here, read your lines to me. Maybe some small practice will ease your mind a little?"
Travis suggested with a smile.

"I don't know...I still don't know if I should audition to be Lady Capulet."
Y/N worried.

"Then maybe you should try out for Juliet!"
Travis encouraged, before ruffling Y/N's hair.

"I wanted to be Juliet, but I do not want to be in the spot light for that long...or at all."
"Do you thinks it's too late for me to beg Mrs. Simon to be back stage help?"
