Chapter 6 - Page 4 (𝓦𝓱𝓸 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓼𝓽?)

Music blared through Y/N's radio as she and Damien got ready together.

Damien was fluffing up his hair, while Y/N was doing the same.

They had the cutest matching outfits to hangout with Ashley in. Damien requested it, saying, "We need to show people we're a duo".
Damien was also very proud of the outfits he picked.

Y/N put on the finishing touches of her makeup and then turned to Damien.

"You ready?"
She asked with an excited smile.

"Absolutely. You look gorgeous by the way,"
Damien gave a friendly wink and blew a kiss at Y/N before walking over to grab his shoes.

"You're lucky I do, these outfits are ridiculous."
Y/N huffed with a teasing smile.

Damien immediately shot his head up to look at her.
"Ridiculous? These are the cutest outfits since Molly Ringwald's, 1981 screen queen outfit."

"You know way to much about Molly Ringwald."
Y/N laughed.

"There's no such thing as 'knowing to much about Molly Ringwald'. I strive to be like her."
Damien gawked as he slid on his last shoe.

Y/N did the same.

After the two were totally ready to leave the house, Damien pulled them over to Y/N's full body mirror.

"We look amazing."
Damien stared at the two of them, but mostly himself to be honest.

Y/N nodded and stared at her own reflection.
She wore a red short sleeved crop top, with Cuckoo the yellow bird from Tom and Jerry on the front. For pants, she wore light blue washed jeans and a black belt to hold it up. To tie the whole look together, Damien decided to add a slightly baggy Jean jacket into the mix.

Damien picked out colorful Nike shoes for her that he had found in her closest, amongst the many heels and platforms.

Damien wore a red, cropped polo shirt with a white collar. For jeans, his looked almost identical to Y/N's except the blue color was a little paler than her own.
Damien also had a Jean jacket that paired well with his pants. For shoes, he wore white Nike shoes but the Nike logo was red, just to match his top.

He had been planning this outfit duo for awhile. He was glad his dream came true.
And yes, it was his dream to finally match clothes with his best friend.

"We do look great."
Y/N nodded in agreement to Damien's previous statement.

"Told you. This is why you should always listen to me."
Damien nudged her with a smile.

She pushed him back and the two got ready to leave.

"God, what is taking this woman so long?"
Damien complained.

"I'm sure Ashley will be here soon, Damien."
Y/N said.

"How is she late to her own plans."
Damien threw his hands up in irritation.

"Relax. Let's just grab a slushie while we wait."
Y/N suggested.

To which, of course Damien said yes - but he said it with an attitude.
The two walk inside the 7 11 they were just outside of and walked to where they would pick out their slurpies.

Damien chose red and Y/N chose (F/S/F).
The two paid for their slushies and savoured the slurpies as they walked back out of the convenience store.

(A/N : (F/S/F) = Favorite Slushy Flavor)

"If she isn't here in the next 5 minutes, we're leaving."
Damien said.

He wasn't the most patient person, clearly.
Y/N shook her head at him with a light smile. But she was also beginning to get tired of waiting as well.

"Alright. Let's make it 10 minutes, and if she still isn't here, we'll leave-"
Y/N was about to agree to Damien's terms, but a very familiar voice spoke up before the deal was set in motion.

"Hey guys!"

The two best friends turned to the voice and spotted Ashley with her usual purple and black clothing color scheme.

"Ashley! We were wondering where you were."
Y/N said with a slight smile as the duo walked closer to her.

Damien gave her a slight dirty look, but Y/N knocked it out of him when she lightly smacked his shoulder and told him to play nice.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I got caught up at work, they kept giving me things to put up on shelves."
Ashley told the two, sincerity present in her voice.

"Oh, it's alright. We didn't mind waiting, right Damien?"
Y/N turned her gaze to Damien who sighed.

"Yeah, not at all."
Damien internally groaned.

Damien wasn't entirely grumpy because Ashley had took so long, but at the fact that her whole vibe seemed off to him.
He couldn't put his finger on why, but something about her didn't feel right.
Damien didn't plan on letting his guard down around her, she didn't look trustworthy.

"Thanks so much for waiting, you guys. I'm surprised you hadn't left."
Ashley laughed sheepishly.

"Us? Leave? Never."
Damien shared a look with Y/N, both of them knowing they were about to do just that.

"Thanks again, anyway...you guys want to go see a movie?"
Ashley asked with a smile.

Y/N nodded excitedly.
"Hell yeah! Let's go!"

Damien looked hesitant, but when Y/N tugged on his sleeve, he was dragged in the direction of the cinema, where he had no choice but to follow her.
