"I'm gonna die!"

Jane flopped on the bright green grass, her breath heavy and frantic after having ran ½ miles. 2 laps around the track really seemed to take the "life" out of Jane and Y/N. Meanwhile, Viper continued to run laps even after she had finished her required two.

"I second that,"
Y/N breathed out.

Sal and Larry, however, had finished first and were volunteered by Mr. Benson to help him pull out the sport equipment they will be using for the rest of PE.

The two girls laid in the freshly cut, green grass next to the track - trying to gain back their breath.

Y/N finally regained most of her breath and sat herself up on her elbows, looking down at Jane.

"I hate this class."
Y/N leaned her head back and closed her eyes.

Jane nodded, and with what little energy she had, she also leaned up and spotted Viper still running around the track without a care in the world.

Viper is actually quite an active person, even though she sleeps for fun. But whenever she isn't dozing off, she is working out or doing some sort of activity that keeps her moving around.
That's not so much the case for Jane, though. Jane does nothing all day and she likes it that way, if she has to do any sort of physical activity - you will never hear the end of her complaining.

"Why does she voluntarily choose to run?"
Jane says in disbelief.

"My question exactly. I don't know why she does, keeps her in shape and moving I guess."
Y/N suggests with a shrug.

"Yeah, but like...why? Running has to be one of the worst exercises to ever exist. That, and burpees."
Jane gave a long sigh.

Y/N giggled at her friends words.

"I can see where you are coming from, but running is also the easiest ways to give yourself some exercise."

Just as Jane went to protest more, she was interrupted by a voice calling to them,
"Jane, Y/N! Come on, we are heading out to the football field!"

The girls turned their heads away from each other and towards the voice that had yelled at them.

Their P.E teacher stood there with one of his hands on his hip as he waved the girls to follow the rest of the class-who were already walking away-with the other - in the direction of the football field.

The two girls groaned, upset they were having to get up and move around again, but slowly stood up.

Y/N helped Jane up off the ground, because Jane was too lazy to use her own energy to do it and the two began their short journey to the football field.
