The next two weeks passed by with ease. My mom had let me take some days off from school to catch up with Damien, because she knows how much I've been missing him - ever since we moved away.

So, most of the two weeks was spent with Damien - talking about our lives and generally just having a good time together.

There was a few days where I did have to go to school so that I wouldn't miss out on much, and missing days also meant I had a lot of studying to do so I didn't fall behind - but I didn't care.

I was just happy I had Damien was here with me, and actually, he was going to be enrolling into Nockfell High with me! Damien and his family would be staying with us for awhile, Damien needed to stay on top of his own education too - his parents are very strict when it came down to grades.

Although I was having a great time with Damien, I feel like I could have had opened my mind to spending more time with Sal and Larry.
Now that I think about it, I haven't really 'hung out' with them in awhile.

The only times I've actually really talked to or seen them was the days I went to school. I had just been so caught up in the excitement of having my best friend with me again, I didn't even realise I hadn't spent much time with my boyfriend's.

Narrator's POV

Speaking of the boys, they were currently sitting in Larry's tree house - Sal was doing some tuning on his wine red, electric guitar while Larry gently painted on a canvas - creating an image of a beautiful landscape.

Both of their attention was stuck on their own activity, and it was a peaceful silence. Just as it had been for a few hours now, they were just enjoying each other's company. Until they heard the dreadful high pitched voice of none other than,

"Sal? SAL! Are you up there?"

Ashley Campbell.

Sal and Larry both looked to each other with panicked looks, silently freaking out to one another. Neither of them wanted to talk to the girl.

Larry gave Sal a look, and he knew exactly what it meant.
"She forced it out of me when we were dating! She wouldn't stop trying to squish where the tree house was out of me!"
Sal whisper-shouted.

"It was meant for you to keep a secret, Sal! I only show this place to people I genuinely care about, this is my spot! How could you?!"
Larry whispered back.

"I'm really sorry, Larry. I did try to walk away from the conversation, but she followed me! She threatened to break up with me if I didn't tell her about it."
Sal quickly apologized.
