Freya felt warmth spreading through her body and she smiled. Death wasn't so bad. "I had a vision, that the girl with the smiling face would end my life."

Freyas eyes flew open. She stood in the inky blackness with just one other figure standing a few feet in front of her. Freya gasped and took a step back from Master.

Master smiled and shook his head. "I never imagined it would be my own flesh and blood, but that would make sense, you would be the only one who could have killed me."

Freya stared around the inky blackness. "Where are we?" Master flung his arms out, "time does not exist here, we are simply passing into the afterlife, but it is also how I can control my power, I only realized that you were my daughter when I killed one of my warriors and you showed up here, of course I hid from you."

Freya stared around in the darkness. "But--I saw my mother in this same way." Freya whispered. Master laughed. "You had seen memory, seeing it here only make it stronger."

Master looked down at his feet when flames started to eat away at him. "I guess it's my turn to go, I'm sad you won't be joining me."

Then the flame surged over him, crackling and roaring to life. Freya took a step back from the blazing heat.

Freya eyes flew open, and she leaned over the cot and threw up. Water and stomach acid ran down onto the floor, and she felt someone's hand on her back.

"Thank god." Freya fell back onto the cot gasping for air and stared up at the stone ceiling. Two faces peered down at her, and Freya tried to focus on their faces, but the darkness called to her, and she closed her eyes.

Freya eye fluttered open and she stare at the ceiling above her. Was she alive? Freya heard breathing all around her and she tilted her head to the side.

Soldiers were laying in cots everywhere. Bandages wrapped around their head, arms and legs. Freya looked to her right. Mary was asleep on a cot beside her.

"Mary?" Freya whispered. Mary's eyes snapped open, and she was by Freyas side within seconds. "How do you feel?" Freya thought for a second.

"I can't feel anything." Mary took Freyas hand. "that's okay, the doctor has you on strong medicine. Now try to go back to sleep."

Freya felt like she had only been sleeping for a second before she opened her eyes again. Zyle had a chair pulled up to her cot and when he saw her eyes open, he called out to Mary.

Mary finished wrapping a soldier's arm and then hurried over. "You've been asleep for nearly three days! The doctor said it was good, but it worried me!" Zyle stood so his wife could sit in his seat. Mary sat and took Freyas hand.

"So, how do you feel?" Freya gave Mary a small smile. "My stomach hurts a little." Freya looked up as Captain Colt walked over toward them. "Only Freya could survive a scythe through her internal organs."

He winked and stood beside Zyle. "It does help that you are a witch." Freya groaned and closed her eyes. "Please stop calling me that!"

Mary patted her shoulder. "Do you want the captain to leave?" Freya sighed. "No, it's fine." She turned to look at Mary. "Mary, I couldn't save Zoe." Mary looked down and tears sprung into her eyes. "I know,"

Mary gripped Freyas hand tighter. "It's okay." Zyle looked away. "I'm sorry, me and my men were ambushed outside the building, we barely got out alive, you saved are lives. When you gave Master that last blow it killed the Master Clan warriors, Master had been keeping them alive with his dark magic."

Freya gasped and looked up at Zyle, "Is Uzu okay?" Zyle frowned "a little to okay, I you ask me."

As if he had heard them Uzu pushed past Colt and looked down at Freya. "Why? Would you have missed me?" Freya grumbled and turned away. "I'm tired." Colt laughed "of course, sleep well."

Freya asked Mary to keep everybody away for the next few days. She couldn't seem to keep the food that was given to her down and the doctor had to insert tubes to give her the nutrients that she needed, like the ones back on earth.

The soldiers started to slowly trickle out of the hospital, but Freya stayed staring up at the ceiling. "Okay Fey, let's try to walk." The doctor helped Freya to sit up. "Thank goodness you have Master Clan blood in you, I doubt you would have survived if you hadn't."

Freya swung her legs over the side of the cot. The doctor held out her arm for Freya to grip. Freya bit her lip as her feet hit the floor and a shock of pain ran up her leg. "Good, good. Try taking a step."

Freya walked around her cot till the doctor was satisfied. "You seem to be healing well." Freya crawled back onto her bed and pulled the covers over her head. "I want to sleep know." Freya closed her eyes.

"Freya? I know you've been having nightmares; you should tell Mary. She's been worried." Freya pulled the covers off and looked up at the doctor. "How did you know?" The doctor smiled kindly at her, her face turning a little red.

"The first night it scared me, Captain Uzu was here to get his stitches out, you just started to thrash about screaming. It took us a long time till I could finally put you to sleep."

Freya paled a little. "it's true, I've been having nightmares. But I don't want Mary to worry." The doctor placed a hand on Freyas shoulder.

"I know Master did horrible things, but it might help to talk about with Mary. We all miss Zoe." Freya winched at the name 'Zoe' then she rolled over and pulled the covers over her shoulders. Closing her eyes.

Freya sat bolt upright in the cot, sweat dripping down her forehead. The lights in the hospital were turned down low, and the sound of light breathing echoed through the room.

Freya touched her face to make sure she really was awake. She took deep gulping breaths of air and threw her legs over the side of her cot. She pulled at the tubes in her arm and then stumbled over to the door.

She opened it and hurried from the room. She walked past through the hall and toward the metal door that led outside. The Algras warriors had been scouting the planet, but so far not a single Yeth had appeared.

They had gathered the bodies from the woods and the Master Clans dome building, gathering over 200 bodies in total.

Master had been preparing for that battle for a long time, using his magic to preserve the bodies.
