The men crouched behind the trees as they watched the shuttle door hiss open. Freya clutched at her sweater nervously.

She needed to tell the humans that three of their 4 cadets were dead and that she wouldn't be returning with them, or they might look all over the planet for them.

Freya felt a little weight lift off her shoulders, she could stay with Mary and Zyle, she—she might have a family. She could do this.

Four men in armored suits and rifles stepped from the shuttle. Their eyes scanned the area. Uzu pressed his back against the tree and nudged Freya forward.

"I can come with you if you want." Freya shook her head and stepped out from behind the tree. "it's fine."

Freya slid down the hill gripping her stomach, she really wanted to lay down.

The men raised their guns, Freya held up her hands. "American! Wait!" The men lowered their guns.

"Where are the other cadets?" they asked looking into the trees. Freya took a step back as they started toward her.

"There dead, I did my best to save them, I swear, but it was your own fault for sending us here." the men looked at each other. "Okay, get on the ship, were going to scan the area." Freya backed away.

"I'm staying." One of the men shook his head. "You're not authorized to do that. Get on the ship." Freya didn't think they wouldn't allow her to stay, why would they care? She was just the kid off the streets to them.

"I'm not going back to earth." Freya pulled her hood further over her head as the sun came out from behind the clouds.

One of the men set his rifle down and walked slowly up to Freya, holding his hands out to not startle her. "We sent you here because we knew you'd survive, being one of their kind, we need the information only you have. We did not risk losing three lives so that you could stay here. Earth maybe I danger if we can't get information we seek."

Freya stared at the man. "You knew I wasn't human?" Freya flashed back to Zoe's glazed over eyes "So that's why you sent me here." Freya whispered. "Those kids all died, because you wanted information?"

Freya took a step back. The man grabbed her arm. "I won't ask again." Freya yanked her arm out of his grip and kicked him backward. "You sent those kids to their deaths! You knew what was on this planet!" Freya shouted, drawing her gun from her side. Zyle had made her clip it to her leg, just in case.

The men shouted and fell to their stomachs as Freya fired at them. "How dare you!" Freya ducked as the man flung his arm out. She brought her metal leg up and the man went flying.

"Freya lets go." Uzu's wolf grabbed Freya by the collar and dashed toward the wood, Freya flailed about, demanding to be let go. Freyas feet dangled just an inch over the ground as the rest of the men atop their wolves joined Uzu.

Uzu's wolf dropped Freya and she stumbled into a tree. "I could have handled it." Freya mumbled. She looked up at Uzu. "Do you think they'll leave?"

'Bang!' Uzu's wolf gave a yip of pain and fell to it's side. Uzu rolled out from under it and leapt to his feet. "Scatter!" he shouted.

The men from the shuttle dash through the woods toward them, rising their guns they fired.

Three more wolves yipped and fell to their sides, as blood started to stain the blue grass. Men leapt from there wolves and sent them forward. Freya drew her gun and fired. One of the men grunted and grabbed his shoulder, he hit a tree and tumbled to the ground.

Freya ducked behind a tree as a spray of bullets flew past her. She gripped her stomach and took deep breaths "Just go the hell home!" Freya shouted.

She pulled the magazine out, two more bullets. She slammed it back into the gun. The Algras ran from their trees, throwing their blades.

Freya looked around the tree, she pulled her self-back around as another spray of bullets flew past her. Freya caught a shadow out of the corner of her eye, and she spun around.

A cloaked figure pushed her against the tree. Freya cried out and brought the gun up. The figure slammed his knee up into her arm and Freya winched in pain, dropping the gun. Freya stared into the dark eyes that shone from under the hood.

He looked so familiar. Freya hissed as something sharp pierced her skin. Freya locked her leg around the man's leg, and he stumbled backward. He regained his balance, and his fist flew at her face Freya spun around the tree, grabbing her throbbing stomach.

She looked down, pulling her hand away from her shirt, it was covered in blood. Freya moaned and grabbed her arm, her muscles stiffened, and a burning pain rippled through her body.

The man dashed around the tree, he spun around bringing his leg up, his foot hit Freya in the face. Freyas back hit a tree and she fell to her knees. "What did you do to me?!" Freya groaned as another wave of pain surged through her body and she fell forward gripping her stomach.

The man pulled Freyas hood off and gripped her hair, making her face the sun. "I pretty much pushed pure sun into your veins. That wouldn't hurt a human, but we know what you are."

The man's voice was soft and barely above a whisper. Freya screamed and gripped her head. "Zyle!" Freya skin was on fire, and she pulled the hood over her head, trying to shield herself from the sun.

The man grabbed Freya under the arms and threw her over his shoulder. "let's get you to the shuttle." Freya trembled on the man's shoulder; she had never been in so much pain! Freya moaned as another wave of pain ran through her body. The man stepped to the left as a blade whizzed past his head. "Freya!" Zyle ran toward them.

The man gripped Freya tighter and started running through the woods. Zyle grabbed his blade and threw it.

The man spun around, and Freya heard a gun. Everything was silent. The man spun back around, and Freya stared at the unmoving body of Zyle, as the blood starting to pool around his body.

Freya screamed as her skin started to crack, and she gripped her head. Freya threw her weight to the side and the man stumbled. Freya hit the back of his head with her balled up fist and they fell forward.

Freya jumped on the man and raised her fist. Her body started to convulse, and she fell onto her back, screaming in pain and grabbing her head. The man picked himself up and leaned over Freya. "I'm sure this is the worst pain you'll ever feel." Freya felt the sweat dripping down her back.

The man pulled his mask down, drawing his gun from his holster. "Yet your still not unconscious---" the man raised the gun and brought it down on Freyas head.

Uzu pressed his back against the tree, breathing hard. He looked around the tree. The men from the shuttle were retreating toward there ship.

Uzu gripped his blade in his hand. A few of the men raised their weapons and gave a cry. "Captain!" A soldier gripped his shoulder and stumbled toward him.

"They got the girl!" Uzu froze. "Where!?" The soldiers all turned toward Uzu. "Do we go after them?" Uzu looked around. "Where's Zyle?"

There was a loud burst and the earth under their feet started to shake. "Stop their ship!" Uzu shouted, he started dashing through the woods.

Uzu stopped in his tracks as the shuttle launched into the air and streaked across the sky. He threw his blade to the side, and it lodged into a tree. "No."

"Captain!" Another soldier sped toward them on his wolf. "It's Captain Zyle!" Uzu spun around. "What now?" The soldier held out his arm and Uzu climbed behind him.
