*This is the monster, but without the eyes, or the closes I could find:)

Freya gritted her teeth, her eyes opened. She stared up at a stone ceiling. Freya blinked, where was she? She was tired of waking up confused. Was she dead?

Someone's face loamed over her. She yelled out and raised her fist, her arm stopped right before hitting the blurry face, Freya confused looked to her left, her wrist was tied to the cot she was laying on. What?!

She pulled at the ropes, she had to think, what she was going to do? She pulled again at the ropes. "where's my friend!" Freya shouted. "Zoe! Zoe!" Freya flailed about, someone grabbed her shoulders and pushed her back to the table.

"you're going to tear your stitching." Freya stopped moving. English, it spoke English. "American?" Freya asked, squinting up at the blurry face. "Yes---American." Freya blinked as the owner of the voice came into view.

Had she found the soldiers? A young man stared down at her, his dark hair hung over his dark blue eyes. No, he was too young to be one of the soldiers. "How do you speak English? You're lying."

The man took his hands off her shoulders. "Your friend is alright, sleep." Freya pulled at the ropes. "No! Let me go!" The man disappeared out of sight and Freya tugged at her ropes again. there was no use, she wasn't going to break through these.

Living on the streets was better than this. She wanted to go home. "Fey!" Someone threw their arms around her neck, and she tried to sit up. "Zoe?"

Zoe pulled back so Freya could see her face. "it's okay, were alive, thank god." Freya pulled at her ropes. "Cut these, we have to go! Zoe cut the ropes, hurry!" Zoe tried to calm Freya down. "It's okay Fey, they only tied you down because you kept attacking them in your sleep and tearing the stitching on your stomach."

Freya stared at the girl. "Zoe we can't trust these people! This isn't earth, they aren't human!" Zoe jumped as someone walked up behind her. "She is quite right, we aren't human like you, but I did save your life."

The young man pulled his mask down off his face. Freya glared at the man; he did look human. "If you don't intend to harm us then let me go." Someone laughed and walked up beside the man, the lady wiped at her eyes like Freya had said something funny.

"I don't intend to do that; I want to know why an *Algras lived on the planet earth. I'll only let you go when you tell me." She smiled apologetically, "No hard feelings, I'm just very interested."

Freya clenched her fist. "I don't understand what you're talking about, please just let me go, I haven't done anything to you or your race." The lady chuckled again and patted Freya on the shoulder, she hated it.

"You mean your race." Freya grunted and then started to laugh at the lady. "Shut up! You've must have hit your head harder than mine." Zoe gasped and gripped Freya shoulder. "Your one of them! Why didn't you tell me!"

Freya shook her off "Are you crazy? It's imposable!" She growled. The lady pursed her lips.

"So even you didn't know, how very interesting, you see the creatures we saved you from, lay their eggs in their victims, human bodies can't kill the egg and the baby Yeths eat them from the inside out, While the most Algras's bodies can kill the eggs once they've entered the body. 17 years ago, is when it started, the Yeth's were few only three, and we were able to keep them from feeding on us, but they multiplied when the humans came, now they have reached over 3,000, they can lay up to 900 eggs in one body."

The woman pointed toward Freyas stomach. "You my dear were given over 1,000 eggs, they all died, they could not live in a Algras body." The woman bowed slightly, "you my dear are a Algras in the flesh, at least part Algras."

Freya closed her eyes. She wanted to go home, stop telling her this nonsense. "Freya?" Zoe touched her hand. "it's okay, I'm still here." Freya opened her eyes; she held up her tied hands. "Can you cut these please? I just want to go home."

The man looked down at Freya, "you're not listening, you are home."

Freya sat up on a thin table, Vern the lady doctor from before ran her hand over the stiches on Freyas stomach. "Hmmm...Seems to be healing very fast..." the doctor frowned and stared at Freya for a moment, before she turned away and started to ruffle through some papers. Freya let her shirt fall back down. She felt numb after the shock of learning that she might indeed be a Algras.

Days passed and the doctor refused to let Freya and Zoe leave the room, she said the Lord and Captains were holding a meeting. Zoe tried to cheer Freya up by teaching her little kid games she would play with her five younger siblings.

but the days passed slowly, and Freya grew restless. One night nearly a week after they had arrived, as Freya and Zoe were laying down for bed on two cots that had been set up for them, Zoe took Freyas hand.

"Can we go back home now?" Freya hesitated, she didn't want to risk Zoes safety, she had grown to love the girl, she always tried her best to keep Freya happy, and Freya never saw her without a smile.

Zoe looked at her with tear filled eyes and a small smile. "Please?" she whispered. Freya knew that Zoe was scared, so was she. She knew she had to be brave for Zoe, they needed to get back to the shuttle and radio earth.

They needed a pickup. Freya looked over at the metal door. "We should leave now, the doctor said they had a big thing tonight. We might be able to slip out, I think the doctor might have forgotten to lock the door."

Zoe nodded in agreement. "But what about the Yeth monsters?" Freya stood up and headed for the door. "I think they just stay in the city's; we didn't see any on our way over, the Algras took are supplies, but we have more in the shuttle."

The Algras had fled to the mountains after the Yeth had started eating them, the Yeth had nearly wiped them out, they were strong and fast. The Algras lived in the mountain, trying to find a way to get rid of the Yeth, the warriors would ride out, but they could only manage to kill a few before they were killed as well. Freya opened the door.

"Thay didn't lock it thank god." Zoe tugged at her outfit nervously "shouldn't we thank them? They did save our lives." Freya looked out into the stone hallway. "Come on Zoe, they kept us prisoners."

They walked through long dark stone corridors for nearly ten minutes before they saw light ahead. They gasped as they looked out into a vast cave, hundreds of Algras people were dancing around huge fires, they wore colorful cloths, and everyone was wearing a smile.

They all sang in one voice, and it echoed loudly through the huge cavern. Freya took Zoes' hand and they ducked into another hallway, it led to another thick iron door. Freya grunted as she struggled to open it. Zoe played with her short hair nervously. "Would they hurt us? If they caught us leaving, I mean." Freya grunted and the door popped open.
