Uzu slid from the wolf as the body of his brother came into sight. "Zyle!" Uzu fell to his knees beside the captain. He rolled him over, his hands trembling as he pushed on the wound to stop the bleeding.

Zyle's face was pale, and he groaned. "Fey, they got Fey." Uzu hung his head. "I know. I don't know how; she would never let them touch her."

Zyle grabbed his shoulder and closed his eyes. "We need to stop the bleeding." Uzu said pulling his shirt over his head and tying it tightly around his brother's arm. Zyle opened his eyes and sat up.

"They took Fey, what—what am I going to do?" Uzu gripped his brother's good shoulder. "She's smart, she'll be fine." Zyle looked up at the small bright speck in the sky. "Yes, lets pray she'll be all right."

Freya gripped her pounding head. Why was it so loud? What happened? She couldn't remember.

"How the hell did it take off on its own?!" Freya eye lids fluttered open. She lay beside a roaring fire, with the moons peaking over the tops of the huge blue trees.

A shadow poked a stick at the fire, making sparks fly in the air. "Green got shot, he probably got spooked and took off. Makes sense, never trusted the guy, he's scared of his own shadow."

Freya lay on her side; she felt the cool earth against her head. What had happened slowly started to come back. "They'll send reinforcements once he gets back to earth. Don't sweat it."

Freya felt someone sit down beside her head and she struggled to turn her head. "Oh, she's awake." Freya heard that soft whispering voice.

She opened her mouth to speak, she felt a foot slam into her stomach, and she curled into a ball, gasping for air. "Hey, knock it out, we don't want her wound to open."

Freya looked down at her bound hands. She stared at the cuffs bewildered. "What---what's happening?" she asked, looking around her.

Everything was coming back foggy, and slowly. Someone's hands grabbed the roots of her hair and pulled her head up to look at them. Freya grunted and glared up at the ruff looking face.

The man that had tried to grab her back at the shuttle, looked down at her with a grimace. "You had to go and mess everything up, didn't you?" Freyas head fell back to the ground, and she stared at the flame.

How would she get out of this mess? Two other men sat around the fire, watching as the older man sat back down to his dinner of freeze-dried food. "This planet no longer threatens earth! Just leave us alone, please."

Freya pleaded, wiggling her bound feet around, trying to get them undone. "Ha!" The older man shoved a hand full of food into his mouth. "Thats what someone like you'd say, save it for the government."

Freya gritted her teeth. "Would they believe me?" The older man clenched his jaw and drew his gun, pointing it at Freya. "Shut up." Freya froze and eyed the gun. Would they really kill her when they risked so much to bring her back for information?

"Stop being so rude Kline." Freya looked up at the man sitting beside her. She narrowed her eyebrows. He wore his cloak loosely around his shoulders, and he turned his dark eyes and looked down at her.

He pushed his dark hair out of his eyes. "Hi." Freya bit her tongue, she shouldn't say what was on her mind, it might get her killed. "You hungry?" Freya eyed the dried food he held out to her.

Freya once again had to stop herself from saying anything stupid. "Yeah, I'm starving." Freya said before turning and laying back down so that her rib wasn't digging into her stomach. He pushed the plate in front of her face.

"Then eat." Freya stared at the clumpy mess of food. "I can't eat food." Freya said wiggling her hands slowly around in the cuffs.

"Eat, we didn't risk are lives for you to starve to death." the older man stood to his feet and stomped toward Freya. He hauled Freya to her knees and grabbed the plate.

Freya clamped her mouth shut. The man gripped the plate in his hands. The man in the cloak watched from the corner of his eye, with an almost amused expression.

Freya clenched her hands and looked up at the man. "I can't keep food down---" He shoved a hand full of food into Freyas mouth and she choked. Some slid down her throat as she struggled to cough the rest out, but as she took a struggling breath of air, he shoved more in.

"Careful Kline, we don't want her choking." the man in the cloak watched them as Kline shoved the rest of the freeze-dried food down Freyas throat.

He threw the now empty plate at one of the men's heads "Your first guard." the man rubbed his head and nodded. "Sure."

Freya fell to her side and took deep gulping breaths. She coughed out some of the food that had lodged in her throat and rolled over onto her back. She clenched her jaw and stared up at the moons. If there is a God out there save me, please. I need to get back to Mary.

Freya sat up and vomited up the food in her stomach. The man on watch, jumped and reached for his gun. Freya coughed up the chunks onto the grass and sat on her hands and knees, gulping in the night air.

"Guess you really can't keep food down." the cloaked man rolled over and sat up. The breeze brushed past Freya and she looked up at the moons. Let me get back to my family, please.

"Commander?" Kline sat up from sleeping on the ground and looked at the man on watching duty. "What is it?!" The man drew his gun and crouched. "There is something in the tree, I saw it's eyes, it must be huge."

Everybody sprung to their feet, grabbing for their guns. Freya sighed and pushed herself to her knees. The cloaked man's hand hovered at his holster.

"Hold your fire till you can see it." Kline said eyeing the trees. Freya looked tiredly up at the tree. A small blue head poked out from under a branch and stared at her. "Its eyes are huge!" One of the men cried.

Freya smiled and looked sideways at the men. The younger dark eyed man glance at her and her smile vanished. She turned her head and looked away. "Hold your fire, it's just a monkey."
