The men all sat around the stream talking. Freya watched as the small shadow finally made it to her tree. Three little blue heads popped down from the branch she was tied to.

Three little Monkins swung down to the branch and started to gnaw at the ropes. Freya glanced over to where Mattew and the men sat talking then back up at the Monkins.

"Are you Monkins brothers and sister?" they all looked at her with their big eyes but continued to chew through the ropes. Freya smiled at them tiredly.

"Thank you." The talking stopped, and Freya looked back toward the creek, urging the Monkins to hurry. The men were on their knees with the rifles aimed off into the woods.

Freya spotted a lone wolf lapping up water from the stream a few feet away from the men. Freya looked at the Monkins chewing through the ropes.

That was Colt's wolf. The sweet she-wolf. Freya looked from the Monkins to the she-wolf drinking water. Kline raised his gun. Freya looked from her bound hands to Colt's wolf. "No!" Freya shouted. "Run Fleuve!"

The she-wolf raised her head and she and spotted the men. She bared her teeth and leapt back into the woods as Kline fired his gun. Fleuve must have been one of the wolves who had gotten shot, she must be trying to get home.

Kline spun around angerly. The Monkins squeaked in terror and leapt from the branch and higher it to the tree. Freya pulled at the soggy rope, but it wouldn't break.

"Have a lot of animal friends, huh?" Kline stared angerly at her. Mattew walked over to Freya and tore the chew rope, retying the ends. Freya sighed and looked away. She was so tired. "Please, give me back my jacket."

Mattew pulled his own hood over his head. "You're so tired you couldn't run off, why would I give you the power to run off?" Freya looked up at Kline. "I don't think I can walk much further." Kline smirked and shouldered his rifle. "Then we'll drag you, trust me I have no problem dragging you though the dirt."

A sharp whistling sounded through the air, and everybody froze. Freya looked at the blade that stuck through Klines torso. He opened his mouth, blood dribbled down his chin and he fell backward into the stream, pushing the blade further through his stomach.

The men crouched and aimed the guns into the woods. "Show yourselves!" Mattew grabbed Freya around the waist and started to pull her back through the woods. He pulled his mask over his face and scanned the woods. He drew his gun and pressed it to Freyas temple.

Freya grabbed his arm as his grip tightened. "That hurts!" She cried. Freya saw the eyes of several Monkins watching from the trees. Mattew pulled her deeper into the woods and Freya weakly tried to protest.

"You, stay silent." Mattew mumbled. "I'm not going to hurt you, but don't speak." Freya spotted a wolf running through the woods and she closed her eyes. They had found her. Mattew pressed his back against a tree.

He leaned close to her ear. "Listen to me. Everybody on earth is in danger." Freya pulled at his arm to loosen his grip. "I already told you; this planet is peaceful." She cried, as his arm tightened it's grip.

Mattew scanned the woods. "That is not what I am talking about, earth is overrun with the black monsters that live on this planet." Freya gasped and turned to look up into her uncle's dark eyes.

"Thats impossible." Mattew frowned. "It's true, a single egg was found on earth, but it---got away and bred." Freya gritted her teeth.

Master. He knew he was going to die; he saw it in his vision, he must have sent an egg to earth. "We need you to save earth, my sister said you were more powerful than your them." Freya looked at Mattew panicking. "What?! No, I'm not, I don't know how to control it!"

Mattew tore his mask away from his face. "Every life on earth depends on you." Freya shook her head. "Thats not true! You don't need me!" Mattew jerked to the right with Freya as a wolf jumped out from behind a tree.

Mattew picked himself up and started through the trees dragging Freya after him. "Thousands are dead," he panted and ducked behind a tree. "Please, there your people to."

Freya cried out as Mattews arm tightened around her waist. "Just shoot them all!" Freya shouted gasping for air. Mattew turned and looked down at her. "There amour is too thick, bullets do nothing."

Freya stared at the ground. "What?" She whispered. "But---they worked before." Master, he knew earth had guns, what had he done?

Mattew grunted and dropped to his knees, he clutched his leg, pulling a knife from his calf. Freya crawled away from him. Mattew watched her hurry away. "Please."

He mouthed as a Algras soldier leapt from a tree and hit him over the head with his handle of his blade. Freya looked away and fell to her stomach, exhausted.

She felt a hand on her arm. "Freya? Fey! Are you okay?" Freya groaned and looked up into Zyle's face. "I'm--fine." Uzu slid off from his wolf and covered Freya with a blanket, blocking her from the sun.

"Let's get Freya back to the mountain." Zyle lifted Freya into his arms. "it's okay, you can go to sleep now." Freya leaned in Zyle and closed her eyes. "Thanks for saving me." Mattew had to be lying, her father wasn't powerful enough to send a new breed of Yeth to earth, he had to be lying.
