Lesson two, DJ, Fathier's freedom

Alina POV

Rey grunts panting she aims her staff at a rock, and I spin my staff in front of me and I grunt swinging forward we lower our staffs for a bit before moving our staffs above us and aim them at two areas on the rock stopping and move back, we move our staffs around our bodies practising what Axel showed us and stop breathing.

I notice Rey glancing to her bag, and I look to mine to see Axel's lightsaber poking out me and Rey look to one another before we grab them and activate them, we got into position and swing the lightsabers forward and begin to train.

Axel POV

I walk over to Luke who watch Alina and Rey practise using our lightsabers I stood on his right Luke ask "How's their lightsaber training" Staring I said "They are improving on their skills" I look to him "Just like when you started" Luke looks to me before looking back I look towards Alina and Rey who both begin to swing the lightsabers faster practising the forms I show them.

Alina POV

We continue to train with the lightsabers and stop Rey slash the rock and move back seeing it tip and tumble down we went over the edge to see a couple of Caretakers moving a wheelbarrow then a piece of the rock destroys it making the two Caretakers look up towards us we deactivate the lightsabers and turn around to see Luke walking up and Axel watching us motioning.

Rey and I grab our stuff and follow Axel up the stairs back to where we first had our lesson Luke said "Lesson two" He looks down "Now that they're extinct, the Jedi are romanticized, deified" He walks staring at the wall "But if you strip away the myth and look at their deeds, the legacy of the Jedi is failure" He sits down with Axel "Hypocrisy, hubris" We walk towards them I said "That's not true".

Looking at us Luke said "At the height of their powers, they allowed Darth Sidious to rise create the Empire, and wipe them out" Looking to us Axel said "It was a Jedi Master who was responsible for the training and creation of Darth Vader" Rey said "And a Jedi who saved him" Luke lower his gaze "Yes, the most hated man in the galaxy".

We sit down next to them Rey said "But you saw there was conflict inside him" Shaking my head "You believed that he wasn't gone" I stare at them "That he could be turned" Raising his brows Luke said "And I became a legend" Looking to Axel I said "You lead fleets and made maybe thousands of victories saving lives".

Looking to us Axel said "That's how I became the Admiral" We stare at them Luke said "For many years, there was balance and then I saw Ben" He shake a bit "My nephew with that mighty Skywalker blood" Luke takes a breath "And in my hubris, I thought I could train him, I could pass on my strengths" We stare at him "Han was Han about it, but..."

Axel chuckles hearing that "...Leia trusted me and Aayla with her son" I stare at him "We took him, and a dozen students, and began a training temple" Luke gets up "By the time I realised I was no match for the darkness rising in him, it was too late" He stares in the direction I ask "What happened" Axel looks to him.

3rd POV

Flashback

On the night before the temple fallen a house is seen Luke said "I went to confront him and Aayla was against it" Crickets are heard "And he turned on me" Luke raise his hands "Ben, no" Raising a hand Ben brought the roof down on both of them "He must have thought I was dead" Rubble moved, and Luke moves his hand out "When I came to..."

He got out of the ruins and went to R2 who turn his head "...the temple was burning" In the distance the temple had fire on it "He had vanished with a handful of my students" Luke fell onto his knees "And slaughtered the rest" He put his hand on R2's head "Even killed my friend Aayla" Luke saw Aayla being held tightly by the Figure who lowered his head to her "Leia blamed Snoke, but it was me" Luke watch in horror "I failed".
