A Deal Of Love

A stormy night

HIS POV:
I finally finished my work. Fuck it's 2 am.
I walked out to get some water when i looked out it was raining, in fact it was a big storm. I could hear lightening. I loved it. On my way back to the room, i stopped in front of Ivy's. I could hear sniffles.
"Ivy?"
No answer.
"Ivy what's wrong? If you don't answer I'm coming in"
I open the door to see her curled up in the corner of the room, shuddering and crying. I dont know what it was, but i felt bad. Genuinely. I went towards her and sat on my knees.
Authors pov:
She kept crying. He cupped her cheeks and asked "Is there anything you wanna talk about? Are you scared of the storm? Did i do something to hurt you?"
She looked in his eyes and stopped crying.
"It's all- It's all my fault Aiden"
"What is?"
He lifts her up and places her on the bed.
He sits beside her with one of his arm around her.
"My mom. She was at home while i was out with my friends. A storm like this had taken that night. I called her to pick me up. She drove to pick me and got into an accident due to the storm. They rushed her into the hospital but couldn't-" she cries more.
Aiden pulls her closer. "It's not your fault, Ivy. You didn't know this would happen."
"But now Ryan has to grow up without a mother"
" And you have to too. I'm sure your mom is proud of how brave you are Ivy.
You're raising Ryan perfectly"
She looks up and smiles at him.
"Did Aiden Carlisle just comfort me?"
"Be happy. It's never happening again" he chuckles.
She rests her head on his chest and mutters "Stay for a while".
And they both drift into deep sleep.
