A Deal Of Love

The dress

HIS POV:
I kissed her. It was a feeling I've never felt before. Her scent was so sweet. She's the most beautiful person I've seen. The way she was blushing made me want to protect her from everything. I think i love her. But it made me think. I'm the one she needs protection from. I'm this broken toy. She doesn't deserve me. She's been through so much. I can't risk hurting her.
The next day*
HER POV:
I was making him breakfast when he came out of the room.
"Good morn-"
"I have to be somewhere. I'll see you later."
He left.
I felt bad. I've fallen in love with him and to think he would just ignore me after we kissed made me feel like i wasn't good enough.
*Incoming call* (Mrs. Carlisle)
"Hello Mom, how have you been?"
Random talks later*
"Thank you for taking care of him, Ivy. He's coming over right now but said you were busy so i guess that's fine. But anyways, I've never seen him so happy especially after you know what. Take care i have to go now. See you at the party the day after tomorrow.
Few hours later*
I sit on the swing in the balcony. The wind through the plants and my hair feels calming.
Aiden walks in the door.
"Aiden"
He looks at me emotionlessly.
"Aiden please come here"
He looks hesistant but sits beside me.
"Was it not good?" I ask.
"What?"
"Did you not like the kiss?"
"No why would you say that?"
I start crying without realising it.
"It's just- you haven't talked to me since- if it's not the kiss then is it me? Am i not good enough?"
He instantly hugs me.
"I'm so sorry Ivy, I'm such an idiot. You're amazing. You're the best I've known Ivy.
The kiss was wonderful. I wont ignore you again. I'm so sorry"
I look up at him.
"Yeah. You really are an idiot"
He chuckles.
*Some time later*
Authors pov:
"Ivy!" Aiden calls Ivy as she's in her room.
She walks out to see a huge box.
"I hope it's not a dead body Aiden"
"Not this time. Open it" he smiles.
She opens it only to see the most beautiful dress. It shines and looks like something a queen would wear.
"Oh my God Aiden, this is so beautiful!"
He stares at her.
"It really is beautiful."
"I have to talk to you about something Aiden can we go in the balcony?"
