Her Pov:
"Your mom, she said hadn't seen you happy especially after something. Especially after what?"
His gaze intensifies. I can almost see a tear but he just stares.
"It's okay if you don't wish to tell me Aiden, I'm sorry I asked."
"Especially after my Dad left. Ever since i was a child he was a busy man. My mom caught him cheating, but still didn't leave him for my sake. One day he just got angry and left. He said I was the reason his marriage got bad. He just left"
A tear escapes his eye as my heart breaks. It hurts me to see him in pain.
I have nothing to say. I just hug him tightly.
"You're perfect Aiden. In every way, you're my perfect man."
He hugs me tightly and we sit that way for a long time till he breaks the silence.
"You said your mom passed away, you never said anything about your dad"
"He left too. The only difference being he was a horrible guy and him leaving was a good thing for us. Guess we both have father issues"
He hugs me again and kisses my forehead.
"Whoever left you was a fool."
