"Anything huh?" One of the guys says with a smirk across his face. The tall guy who looks like the main one is just watching all this with no reaction. He finally speaks. "Leave. Before i change my mind". The second i hear that i grab my brother's hand and leave quickly. The walk home is silent. I started to put
bandages on his wounds. "Was i not giving you enough money?" I ask softly.
"No Ivy, I- I had no choice. As I left for school i met Josh on my way. He forced me to do this and give him the things I stole. He said if i didn't he would hurt you Ivy. I'm so sorry"
I was speechless. I hugged my brother.
"Ryan its not your fault. But be careful of the people you choose. I was luckily there this time. Next time maybe i won't."
I left and tried to sleep. But after this night, that seemed too much to ask for.
