Lanterns

Her pov:
It's been a week since i left. He didn't call,text or try to meet me. But i have Ryan safe now. I have to be happy for him.
"Hey Ivy!" Ryan greets.
" I want you to go with me to this thing tonight"
"Alright"
He's always taking me to some shit.
Later*
"Ready to go?"
"Yeah"
We walk for what feels like forever but we stop by a lake.
"What are we doing here?"
"You have always made me happy sister, it's time you made yourself happy too"
Someone taps on my shoulder. I turn back to see Aiden. Ryan leaves.
"Come with me?" He puts out his hand.
We hold hands and walk. We stop at a boat.
"Hop in"
He takes the boat to the centre of the lake and takes out a lantern. He lights it and we release it, still holding hands.
"Tangled is your favourite movie right?"
He smiles.
I smile back only to see many lanterns lighting up the sky.
It looks amazing.
"Ivy, i kept saying i wasn't good enough for you. I was right. But instead of leaving you for that i should've worked to improve myself. To be the man you deserve. I love you, my Ivy"
"You're already perfect for me Aiden"
I kiss him. We kiss passionately.
"Tangled huh? You really know the way to get me." I laugh.
"Anything to get my girl" he winks.
