A Deal Of Love

Party

His Pov:
I've been ready for an hour. Ivy is taking forever to get ready.
She walks out*
I'm speechless. She looks phenomenal. I have never wanted someone more.
"You- you um- look beautiful." This is the first time I've ever stuttered.
"You look very handsome in that suit too"
I do? I believe it when it comes from her. It's feels euphoric when she compliments me.
Before entering the party*
"Mom! You look great"
"Aiden I'm sorry but I'm too focused on your beautiful fiance right now."
"I can see why" he looks at her as his mom chuckles.
"Ivy, this is for you"
She takes out a diamond necklace that looks somewhat old but still gorgeous.
"Mom, thank you but it's too expensive i can't take it-"
" You are family now, Ivy. What's mine is yours. Aiden put it on her"
Aiden puts it on her and they both stare into each other's eyes.
"Okay enough you two, now let's go in"
Everybody whispers as they see Aiden Carlisle with his fiance.
"Okay I knew you were rich, but this is
A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I wanna eat literally everything there"
He laughs.
"What are we waiting for?"
They enjoy the party.
"Ms. Ivy Richards, will you give me the honour of dancing with you?"
"It'll be embarassing for you if i say no so let's go" she smiles.
They dance along slowly to the music.
Forgetting everything that is going on around. Aiden's mom watches this and feels peaceful.
After the dance they go out and sit on a park bench.
She rests her head on his.
"Aiden. I feel so happy with you"
"Me too. But today is the last day of our deal. Mom leaves now."
She lifts her head and looks at him.
"I'm not good enough for you Ivy. You don't deserve me"
" Are you going to decide that for me?"
"I wish to protect you from the world, Ivy. I can't do that if I have to protect you from myself"
Tears escape from both their eyes.
She gets up.
"Should've thought of that before kissing me Aiden. I should'nt have fell in love with you" she leaves.
