*Savannah's POV*

"Molly stays here and Savannah comes with me... as my little girl."

We all stared at Samuel in disbelief, unsure of what to say at such a ridiculous ultimatum.

"You want me to be your little?" I scoffed. "Are you out of your fucking mind, Samuel?"

He very well could have been. The crazed look in his eyes made me wonder if the man had completely snapped.

"Savannah, I'd be the best Daddy in the world for you. You know I would." He said, a hint of begging in his voice.

Dina made a sarcastic puking sound in response.

"You wouldn't have to worry about anything ever again." He continued, his begging growing increasingly clear in his voice. "You wouldn't even have to work anymore! You can just be my little angel."

"What the fuck is wrong with you, dude?" Dina asked angrily.

"There is nothing 'the fuck' wrong with me, bitch." Samuel replied, matching her anger. "I'll do whatever it takes to get the woman that I love."

We were all taken aback by that sudden admission.

"Excuse me?" asked Dina as she took an aggressive step forward.

"Savannah, I'll show you a world so much better than... this one." He said as he eyed Dina up and down. "I love you. I always have. More than anyone."

"I-... what?" I was stunned, barely able to form words. "What about Molly? Did you even love her?"

"To hell with her." He said, a glint in his eye as he looked at me.

"You were using her." I said, realizing his motives. "This whole time, you were using her to get to me, weren't you?" I accused as I walked over and got right in his face.

I could hear Molly starting to sniffle in disbelief as she stopped struggling in the thug's grip.

"Savannah..." Samuel began with a fake-pained smile. "That's how it goes sometimes. We've both stepped on necks to get to where we are. Don't act like you haven't."

"This is a lot different and you know it, Samuel." I said back aggressively. "Let her go. Now."

He chuckled maniacally.

"I don't think so." He said casually. "In fact. If you don't come with me, Savannah, I'll fucking kill her. I'll put a bullet in that pretty little head of hers right here in your apartment. In front of all of you. And I'll make Abigail watch."

This prompted Dina to charge at him, knowing him to the floor with a swift punch to the face.

"You keep her name out of your fucking mouth!" She said as she straddled on top of him, landing a few good punches to his jaw before the second goon pulled her off.

"You fucking bitch!" He shouted as he stood back up, wiping the blood from his lip. "Emerson, teach that fucking cunt a lesson, would you?" He commanded to the thug that was restraining her.

With Samuel's command, he turned Dina around and landed a hard punch straight to her gut, knocking her to her knees as she gasped for air.

"Mommy!" Abigail shouted tearfully as she writhed to get free from my arms.

Not expecting her to try to escape my grasp, Abigail managed to break from my hold, running over to the thug as her land a kick to the same place on Dina's gut. She let out a cry as she grasped her stomach, unable to get air back into her lungs as the wind was knocked from her.

"Abigail!" I yelled as I ran after my little girl.

"Leave! My! Mommy! Alone!" She said as she landed weak punches on the thug's abdomen, which seemed to completely unphase him.

Pulling her away from him and back into my arms, I turned back to Samuel.

"Samuel, put an end to this. Now!" I shouted in his face as I heard Dina receive another hard punch before crumbling to the floor.

"You have all the power to end this, Savannah. Just agree with my deal." He said, not moving to put a stop to the violence.

Abigail was sobbing as she watched her Mommy writhe on the floor beneath us.

"Mommy!" She cried as Emerson gave Dina another swift kick to the stomach.

I couldn't take it anymore. Dina getting attacked. Abigail having to watch it all. Molly's life in danger. I couldn't put those I love most in life in any more danger than I already have.

"Okay." I said, prompting Samuel to put a halting hand up to Emerson. "I'll go with you. Just let Dina and Molly go."

"Savannah!" Dina yelled as she struggled her way to her knees. "Don't do this. Don't go with this... fucking psychopath."

Ignoring the woman, Samuel continued looking at me with an unnervingly gentle smile.

"Mama... don't go. Please." Abigail said as she buried her head in my neck.

"Oh it's okay little one!" Samuel seemingly cheered. "You and Savannah are going to be the best of little friends! That is, once she learns to be my good little girl."

I looked at Abigail, trying to remain calm but fighting the urge to burst into angry tears. It took all my energy not to put Abigail down and claw Samuel's face into shreds. I leaned in close to her ear.

"I love you, Abigail. To the moon and back. And I'll always be your Mama."

The whimper that came from my little one as I put her into Dina's arms was enough to shatter my heart into a million pieces. I couldn't help but let the tears start to stream down my face.

"You've made the right choice, baby girl." Samuel said to be as he rubbed my back, the pet name making me cringe with disgust. "Come on, let's get you home. You must be exhausted."

Emerson and the other thug walked from Dina and Molly respectively, each of them grasping either of my arms. They walked me with a gentle forcefulness towards the door of my apartment.

I strained my neck to look behind me at the women I was being taken from. Erin looked stunned as she stood in the same place. Molly ran to her, seeking solace in her embrace. Dina chased after me, leaving Abigail sobbing on the floor. She tried to break the goons' grip on my arms, but was easily swatted away by the giant men.

"We will get you back, Savannah. I promise." She said with desperation as I was forced out of the door.

The men forced me into the emergency stairwell, which led to the back alley out of sight of other people. The last thing I heard before the metal door slammed shut was the desperate cries of my little Abigail.

Out of her sight, I let go of my strength and sobbed uncontrollably as I was dragged down the stairs to the bottom floor. My mind raced as quickly as the tears slowed. Questions swirled through my brain with each step.

Was this justice for all of the shitty things I've done in my life? Samuel wasn't lying when he said that I've stepped on necks to get to where I am. I've hurt people. A lot of people. Including those I loved, like Molly.

Maybe I deserved this. Maybe this was some kind of divine justice being handed to me. But one thing that I know for certain is that I will fight like fucking hell to get back to my Abigail.
