24.

A few months later

"I'm so excited!" I jump around the room filled with cameras with a mic above us. "I love puppies."

JD laughs with me and asks, "can we keep one?" A camera guy tilts his head back, smiling,  "they are up for adoption, so maybe."

I whisper over in Drew's direction, "can we keep one." He laughs aloud, "babe-"

"Everyone sit on the floor for me." A girl says cheerily, "bring in the puppies." I sit in the middle of Madelyn and JD so that no one assume anything of me and Drew. I'd prefer to sit next to him but we'd already gone against the rules of being together so we needed to keep it a secret all we possibly could.

"We're going to get them to warm up to you guys first before the cameras roll, then; we'll take them away, toll the cameras and then they'll run to you. Good?"

"YES!" Madelyn cheers as a few baby huskies run out.

"Oh my lord." My hands cover my face, excited, "look at this one- oh my god I'm going to cry they're so fucking cute." I pick one up, a brownish black. "What kind of dog is this?"

Chase chimes, "looks like milo, is it a lab?" He asks the lady. She nods, "he is, his name is Coco." We all coo.

We all make sure all the pups are comfortable with all of us to a point they're playful and they're ready to roll the cameras. They all run out again, Coco running straight for me. "Hi, baby!" The dog slams it's paws on me and I tap around it making it chase my hands. The dog spins around making me laugh as it chases its own tail.

"Skye!" They all yell over each other as the set people laugh. "What?"

"They've been asking you the same question-"

"-you were too busy with the dog." The all laugh and I cringe. "Sorry but how to you expect me to concentrate with ten dogs around us!" I cuddle up to a white poodle as small as my face and I coo again.

JD shakes his head looking at the camera, "this was a bad idea." I laugh.

"Okay, what's the question?"

"What can we expect from your character using only three words?"

I think for a moment, continuing to stroke the dog, "chaos," I start, "pffft- my characters just a bitch, to be honest." We laugh before I try thinking again, "she definitely adds a little spice into the series that's for sure-" everyone agrees with me, "so I guess 'spice' and 'drama', I guess."

"Agreed." Drew adds.

"Yeah-"

"Going to have to agree with you on that one." JD says.

"Which characters do you ship the most?" The interviewer says which I actually hear this time because the puppy has fallen to sleep in my arms.

"Bafe!" Drew yells making us laugh.

"Oh my god! Bafe!" Madelyn laughs.

"I have my fave ship but" I stop to lower my voice into a mumble "we can't say right now." I hint and the interviewer says, "Awh man, I can't wait to watch, then." We nod.

"Okay this is for Drew." We all turn to look at him and I can't help but smile as he holds the same dog from earlier, Coco.

"I'm all ears." He plays with the puppy that starts to jump all over him.

"What's the best thing that's happened on set for this season, for you? Like I'd there anything exciting that's happened or?" Drew grins a little.

"Uhh...yeah I guess so." Is all he says.

"Do you want to elaborate? Or is it a secret?" She hushed.

He gulps before looking at his manager behind a crew member. Was he talking about me?
"Yeah I can't really say right now but this season was definitely my favourite to film. As for the cast, they're amazing to work with but uh-" he stumbles again "yeah, without saying to much, something very exciting happened." He nods.

"Okay, thank you for that. Madelyn, what can we look forward to in this season?" We continue to answer a few questions until the very last one, which was for me.

"Skye, I love how far you've come this year." I nod a thanks, "I hear that you moved from England not long ago and now look at you, everyone loves you, you've done a little something with vogue, I bet your family is so proud!" Right. I haven't heard from them since I got the job. Of course they're supportive but I have nothing to prove it.

"Oh, of course, very supportive." I agree. She smiles. "Have they done anything to celebrate?" Damn.

"Umm- no actually. I haven't been home since I got here so... but I really miss them and I hope I get to see them again soon, maybe we can go out or something." I laugh it off before I give it away.

"Awh that's too bad, well we are very proud of you and I hope you are very proud of yourself too!" She continues.

"I am! And I haven't thanked the cast enough, I haven't-" I turn to them all "thank you, I couldn't have done it without the cast I have so..."

They all yell loudly, "awhhh soppy Skye!" Madelyn hugs me as we all laugh. JD join in making it a group hug as all the pups start joining too.

It's time to do the outro, with Drew does and we all start to leave. "I want coco." I say to Drew as he hovers my shoulder looking down at the dog in my arms, asleep. The set people let us play with them a while longer before they left.

I rock coco in my arms. "He is really cute." Drew agreed, taking him from me to cuddle him. "He likes you too, he went straight to you in the interview."

"I guess so."

"Okay, puppies have to leave now! Say your goodbyes!"

"Noo!" I whine as I take coco back from Drew. Madelyn laughs aside me, "come on babe, we have another interview in an hour."

"But I want him." I protest.

"Then adopt him." Madelyn returns. I look up to Drew, he looks at the dog in awe.

"We can share him." Mine and Madelyn look up to Drew. "What? He can stay in your apartment some days and mine others, we can both have him..."

Madelyn 'awhhh's before saying, "oh my gosh, do it!"

I smile, "okay."
