ACTION...CUT:

There was no way I'd let mine and Drew's manger win. I didn't care. They wouldn't know. We could just be really close friends for all they knew. Even Drew agreed and usually he's the responsible one. "They can't do that can they?" I ask, sitting in the ledge of the dock we'd finished filming on.

It was the day after we found out we couldn't be together and it was still bothering me. "They want what's best for our carriers, that's all." He informs, his soft tone waring me down. "So what's the plan?" He asks me, nudging me shoulder.

I lean my head onto his shoulder, "we're not going to stop seeing each other, nuh -uh, they just won't find out and neither will anyone else." He grins.

Turning to me he smiles, "you like me that much, huh?" He nudges me again, multiple times in fact, tormenting me. I shove him away. "Don't flatter yourself Mr Starkey, I just don't like being told what to do"

"Believe what you wanna believe." He leans back into his elbows, smugly. I shove one shoulder down so that he falls onto his remaining side. He toppled over, getting up straight after to run after me down the dock.

"Maddy!!" I yell for help seeing her walking near us after getting her lunch break. "Wha-" I pull her in front of me as a shield, "what the-"

"Help me."My feet are lifted off the ground and I look down, I'm dangling over the water screaming for Drew to put me down. "Drew, I swear to god!" I screech. "Jonas get a hold of your manic cast member please!" He just laughs.

"Careful, she can't have wet hair for her next scene, Drew." Is all he says. I scoff. "You heard the man, dry hair, nice floor to walk on, no swimming today... too bad." I'm back on my feet and now it's my turn. "Jonas!"

"Yeah!" He yells back from the other side of the set.

"Has Drew got another scene in the next hour?" I yell back. "Nope."

And shove. In he goes, into the water below the deck. I laugh at his lack of enthusiasm, he doesn't find this funny. I do. "Go to go film a scene." I smile, cheekily. I blow him a kiss and leave him swimming to the stairs that lead up to the deck. He flicks the water droplets on his hands at me.

"Dry hair!" Jonas yells. A beat passes and we laugh at how serious he is.

"Sorry Jonas!" Drew says, wiping his hands onto his dark denim jeans. We say our byes, without the quick kiss because we can't. Stupid.

I go back on set. We're filming a scene where my parents and I are bickering about the Cameron's, something about Ward and my dads business. I don't even know.

"Dad, I'm not getting into this. It's nothing to do with me seen as though I'm 17 and have nothing to do with business." I storm off to my room, only getting half way.

"Hey! This business will be yours someday, so yes, it is your goddam business and you will get into it."

I spin on my feet. "What do you mean, my business one day?" I ask my father. This is the first time of me hearing about this business plan.

"Me and Ward signed, our eldest kids get the name of the business once we pass. So your going to listen to its problems because one day your going to half to deal with that!"

"Are you kidding me?" I yell, "does Rafe know?" I doubt he knows. Rafe doesn't want his dad's business, he hates our dad's business, he wants his achievements to be his own and on his own terms. I wanted that too. Not what ever is left from their crummy hands.

"No. Rafe doesn't know and he won't know so keep your zip closed. Unlike you, Rafe will be grateful for this news." Happy? Grateful? No he won't!

"Sure... he'll be so fucking happy to get what ever is left from your shitty mucked up business that was made by his father that he despises, are you kidding me!" I ask rhetorically. "You couldn't just be normal and put me in your will and not give me the big responsibility to pick up your shit!"

My father stands in shock. So does my mother, who hasn't worked a day in her life so she doesn't get a say in this whatsoever. I tut and make an exit as soon as I got the chance. This time I made it all the way to my room, slamming the door and climbing from my window.

I land on a soft cushion to ease my fall from the window. "Aaand- CUT!" I hear a loud bell and now I know I'm off for the rest off the day.

"Great work, Skye." A guy taps my shoulder, I thank him, walking past all the other directors and cast members and I stop at Madelyn. I lean my head on her chest ready for a nap. She pulls me in, swaying me like she's lulling me to sleep.

"I can't believe this is your first acting job, crazy." She kisses the crown of my head like a proud mother. I smile into his sweatshirt, "I know I'm amazing." I joke. Tooting my imaginary horn.

"You really are" she convinces "I'm not kidding, why did you not pursue acting sooner?"

"Never thought I could do it. I didn't even know I could act until I met you guys. Thank you." She smiles, "you got this on your own terms, babe."
