Did Rowan want to lie?

No

Did she need to?

No

Did she choose to to save Valentine's Day?

Yes

"Bee was just digging the tiny body of themself into my rib, it hurt but I'm okay, and I really did just have a nightmare last night. People say when you're pregnant nightmares are worse, I'm okay. Let's just have a good night." She assures him, rubbing his back.

He wants to believe her, so desperately he does, and if it wasn't Valentine's Day he would continue to question her. But since it sounds believable enough, and it is Valentine's Day, he'll let it go for now.

"Okay," he whispers, kissing her cheek and getting off of her, laying beside her. Eddie wraps an arm around her as she lays her head on his chest and one hand on her bump.

They watch the sunset together in peaceful silence, not awkward, but peaceful. Once they watched the sunset, Rowan gave him his other present, as they do. Usually they give about 3 or 4 gifts throughout the day.

After sitting there looking up at the stars and just talking to each other, Eddie remembered about the reservation.

"Shit, come on, we gotta go, baby! There's more today!" Eddie says, jolting up and grabbing her hand. She looks up a bit confused, but let's him pull her up nonetheless.

After racing to the van, going a bit over the speed limit, they made it the restaurant. It was huge. It had fairy lights surrounding it, large windows so you could peek inside easily, and a bunch of staff so no one waits long.

Eddie picked the best one he could find.

"M'lady," he says, bowing down and helping her out and wrapping an arm around her waist once he closed the door.

"Thank you, kind sir," she giggles, curtsying back.

They link arms as they walk in, feeling a cool breeze as they open and walk through the door. No one stops and stares at them like people would back home, they weren't the freaks; the slutty couple that always has to be touching; not even the soulmates; they were just people. Sitting and eating like normal people.

It was nice to say the least.

"Reservation name, sir?" A sweet waitress asked Eddie. She looked closer to Eddie's age then rowan was, since he was 20 and she was 18. Maybe she was 19, 21 even.

"Munson," he answered, turning his head and kissing the top of hers.

"Oh, yes, right this way!" She excitedly said, slightly confusing Rowan. Oh, yeah, Rowan's not gonna be confused for much longer.

They walk behind the waitress, arms still linked, and still not being stared at. It's weird they were so happy for the bare minimum of niceness.

But, anyway, once they arrived at the back, eddie unlinked their arms and the waitress walked away. Confusing her again. Until, she realized they were in front of a curtain, that Eddie was about to open.

He slightly pulled it open, grabbing her hand and pulling her in, going in after her, and closed the curtain back. He got behind her, covering her eyes with one hand and grabbed her waist with the other.

"Ready?" He whispered before kissing the shell of her ear softly.

"Yes," she almost whimpered back, making eddie grin.
