Eddie's Narrative

I finally made it to star court, only 24 minutes late. I looked around the mall entrance when I saw Dustin, Lucas, and mike standing by their bikes.

When I get close enough to them, Dustin spots me and alerts the other boys I'm here. I see mikes and Lucas's head whip toward me.

"Oh my god, finally!"

"Jeez, took long enough!"

"We thought you died"

"Your fucking late!"

They all say at the same time, saying different things, but one comment gets my attention.

"Hey! Don't you fucking curse at me Wheeler! There was a Goddess laying in my bed when I woke up, and you wanted me to leave her there!?" That made me get eye rolls from all the boys.

"Your lucky I made it at all, you little shits!" I basically yell at them.

"Now, let's hurry this up. I have things to do"

"What, like fuck your 'goddess'?" I hear Dustin whisper, making the boys snicker.

"Yes, actually. Exactly that!" This made them all erupt into 'ewww's and 'gross, dude's.

"Come on dipshits I don't have all day!" I say as I walk toward the doors.

Once we're in, we all look around, and I realize, I don't even know why they asked me to come here.

"Hey, uh, why'm I here, again?"

"Oh, yeah, well, you and Ro have like the perfect relationship so we need help; picking out gifts and stuff to make their girlfriends happy with them again" Dustin explains to me.

"Okay, so El and Max are mad at u guys again?" This happens a lot, mike isn't good at expressing his feelings to El, or anyone, so I'm sure she can get mixed feelings.

And, well, I don't think it's only Lucas's fault that max is mad at him, Max is.... I don't know how to explain her, but she can hear something Lucas never even said.

"Yep! Apparently I said max doesn't look good every day, because I said she looked good today"

"And Hopper made El mad so, she got mad at me and we got into a word fight, I would lose if it were a fight fight, and she also heard something I didn't say." Oh, yeah El has Superpowers.

(Yeah, so, there's no vecna plot, or anything. But everyone is the age they are in sts4! And El has her powers, but that mind flayer stuff happened, just not in the mall! <3)

"Okay, and how'm I supposed to help?" I ask, still confused.

"Because, you are like, definitely doing something right to still be with Ro! You have to help us!" They all give me puppy dog eyes.

"Well, that wasn't all me, you know that, right? Me and Ro just clicked, even when we were just friends, it's not like I just got her a big expensive gift and she loved me all of a sudden!" I say with a laugh, when I don't hear them laugh back, I look at them to see them looking around.

"Really? No, of course that's not what happened! But, you guys can try, I guess."

And we started off in Claire's.

Great.

We walk in and I immediately can't do it. Everything's pink, sequins, rainbows, stuffed animals, and smiley. It's gross.
