If you didn't see my post on my page, it said that I will be deleting all of my A/Ns ( Author Notes). Those short little pages of something to do with a delay of a chapter or a new book idea or something that isn't apart of the actual story. Eddie's Narrative

It was 3 in the morning.

We had school in a couple of hours.

I had work afterward.

And Rowan was awake eating scolding hot ramen in my lap.

And I didn't care. I know she try's not to wake me when she can't sleep. But I need to be there for her, I need to comfort her in case she throws up, or wants to sit while I make food, which never happens.

So, I try to always hold tight to her while we sleep, because then I'll feel her leave, so she can't be alone. If she needs to cry, I'm right there to hold her, if she's mad, I'm right there to make it better, I'm always gonna be there for her, even at this time of night/day.

"Eddie, I told you you can go back to sleep" She scolds as she hears me yawn.

"No, baby, if you're up, I'm up" I could practically hear her roll her eyes, which makes me hold back a chuckle.

She continues to eat the hot noodles, sipping on some sprite in between, and offering me some noodles as she blows on them. We both ate some, I gave her a half of melatonin, instead of the whole thing so she doesn't sleep through the night.

"It doesn't exactly work like that, baby, but thank you," she says, chewing and swallowing the gummy.

She goes on her tip toes, kissing my nose, chin, forehead, both cheeks, and she skipped my lips. Smirking, she waddled/ran her way to the bedroom.

"Hey! You come back here, mama!" I shout playfully, following her and walking in to see her cuddled up to a pillow.

Sweet baby

I can still hear her giggling under the covers as I slide in, pulling her back against my chest tightly.

"I still didn't get my kiss, sweetheart," I tsk, kissing very lightly along the back of her neck.

She hums, leaning into me, and huffs when I back up slightly. As she was about to say something, I leaned back in, kissing softly again, hearing her quietly moan.

Once again, I backed away again, making her turn. She pulls me in by my neck, kissing me deeply and shoving her tongue in my mouth. We both hum into the kiss.

"Thank you, darling, wasn't that easy?" I smirk, looking down at her as she rolls her eyes and turns back around.

I wrap my arm around her again, pulling her against me, and digging my face into her neck.

7:03 AM

The alarm had been going off for about 5 or so minutes, and I opened my eyes to see Rowan's spot empty. Before I could worry, or breathe, I felt something on top of me move.

I was on my side with Rowan on top of me, her legs attached to my hip, and her arms laid out.

Who knows how she got there, or how she's comfortable, but by her breathing she is very comfortable and won't be waking up easily today.
