THE WORK DAY went by fast, it felt like an hour, even though it were more than eight. Jimin and Yoongi came home slightly after the others.

The group had ordered some take out and spent the rest of the night together, eating good food, talking and laughing a lot and and of course eating the cake as well. It tasted amazing, it wasn't too sweet, it was sour due to the berries but also sweet because of the vanilla butter cream. Jimin loved it so much, he wanted to eat the whole cake by himself. This alone would be enough as a gift from Yoongi, but the elder had more for him.

Jimin felt all jittery and excited as he follows Yoongi to his room. The others were already in their rooms as the Duo went to Yoongi's room where his gift for Jimin is.

"It's not much. Not that amazing or expensive as the other presents." Yoongi immediately says as they reached the door of Yoongi's room.

"Don't say that. It's for sure amazing." Jimin responds softly, taking a halt just like Yoongi.

"I need you to close your eyes." Yoongi says suddenly, making Jimin even more nervous. He chuckled but nodded before closing his eyes and being lead into Yoongi's room.

"Open your eyes." The elder demands softly and Jimin obeyed slightly hesitant. When he opened his eyes and spot what Yoongi prepared, his heart stopped beating for a second. Suddenly he felt all nervous and his heart started racing in his chest.

There're a few candles on different parts of the room, rose petals around the bed and on the sideboards, balloons in red, white and with 'happy birthday' written on it. It was beautifully decorated and Jimin couldn't really believe his eyes. To some it may be totally cliché or cheesy, but Jimin loves it.

He felt even more nervous when Yoongi softly took his arm and lead him to the bed. There he saw a small box in the middle of it.

"Go, open it." Yoongi says calmly, waiting for Jimin to reach out for the small box. Still slightly hesitant, Jimin grabs it and opens it slowly, not sure what to expect it to be.

At first he frowns, but it slowly made sense. It's a necklace, but not just some necklace, it's a special one with a bullet as a pendant.

"This bullet- it's from the very first time you saved my life." Yoongi breaks the silence, as Jimin observes the beautiful necklace. It looked special and precious, the lace itself was high quality and really pretty. The bullet is polished, but it's still obvious that's a used one.

"That day, you should have stayed in the car, because you were still in training. But you didn't give a shit about rules." Yoongi continues talking, a soft chuckle escapes both of their lips. Jimin slowly took the necklace out of the box, softly caressing the silver metal.

"You only cared about your morals, about your own rules. You saved your partner, you saved me. And you didn't care about the consequences as long as you could make sure, that I don't get hurt." Yoongi says, making Jimin look up from the necklace to Yoongi's face. They're standing pretty close together, Jimin could even smell his strong but wonderful scent that made him feel so lightheaded. The whole atmosphere is calm and amazing, the candles, the rose petals, the balloons, their closeness, Yoongi's voice. It made Jimin feel at ease.

"You saved my life that day. And many other times. This bullet would have killed me if it wasn't for you. It's a reminder, that you're amazing, special, strong and true to yourself. Nothing and no one could bend you. Your nature is to protect those close to you and those who can't protect themselves." The elder says, his fingers softly traveling over Jimin's arm to his neck, and then to his face. Jimin immediately leaned into the touch.

"This should remind you, that you're worthy, that you've found your purpose and that you're the strongest person I've ever met. It should also remind you, that your partner is proud of you and couldn't be any happier being your partner." Yoongi explains making Jimin smile brightly at the wonderful meaning of the gift.
